Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Sometimes you can get by with priming it a few times, and letting it
run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets,
but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you
buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will
get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, count the
number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns
they were in/out.
Please do not forget to rate me, Thanks
Good Luck, I hope this helped

What year is a Troy bilt 13an77kg011 serial 1b129b80291

Im gonna say 2012. You can reinforce that by checking the first two numbers of the 'code' on the motor. Not the chassis numbers under the seat but the engine numbers on the engine?

This is not a common problem. The bolts are at fault. You can replace them and it will work but make sure they are the right bolts and you put them in tight.

Looking at a Troy Built with a Honda engine. Is E85 (ethynol) gasoline a problem with the Honda engine?

85% ethanol is a problem for ANY lawn mower engine!

There isnt a single piece of lawn equipment made to run on any amount of alcohol. Let alone run on something with 85% ethanol in it!

You should drain the tank and carb and put in clean, fresh, non-oxygenated alcohol-free fuel.

Ethanol and methanol ruin a lot of the materials that lawn mowers are made out of. So you might be stuck doing a carb replacement along with changing out all the fuel lines and related items.

Where do we find the honda engine model number on our Troybilt lawn mower?

a small flat surface...usually near the governor arm...the letter/number combination is "dot" stamped into the aluminum and kinda small....there will be a 4 letters and 7 numbers in a row...thats serial number...right above the 4 letters is 3 or 4 more, know as orientation numbers, that identifies usage...

Troy built lawn mower (riding) won't go full

I did not know riding mower had a gas pedal. I know if you leave the throttle control up all the way the engine will choke out. The pedal you are pushing, I think, is the forward/reverse hydrostatic transmission. You may need a new drive belt. The one you have now may be stretched out.
Good Day.

Oil drain plug

Drain plug is not necessary. Remove the dipstick and tip the mower to the side the dipstick is on and use the dipstick tube as a drain.

Oil drain plug

may be under the blade plate under the mower, usually a plug with a quarter inch square drive, you can use a ratchet to loosen it if it is quarter drive, maybe a half inch drive
