SOURCE: I don't know my security key or network key

Sign into the router and look under the wireless settings.
You can reset the key but you'll have to reset it on your wireless devices too. You have to make sure your wireless device (laptop for example) has the wireless setup on the right channel and security setting too.

SOURCE: please help me!! i dont know how to get mt network

network key is the wireless security setting of the router. To get the wireless settings of the router, you will need to open the set up page of the router. Once you open the set up page of the router, you will get the network key.
Do you have any computer connected to the router ?
If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router. Check the IP address on that computer and open the set up page of the router.
When you try to open the set up page of the router, it will ask you for the user name and password for the router also. Try the default user name and password of the router, If that doesn't work then try your password. If that doesn't work then you will need to reset and reconfigure the router.

I dont know what my network key is.

open new Internet Explorer and type in address Bar " http://192.168.1.1" and hit enter.
Leave user name field blank and type "admin" for the password. If you changed the router password, then log in using your password to login to the router.
Once you are in the router setup page, click on the Wireless Tab at the very top of the page. Once you are in the Wireless Tab, just right under the word Wireless you click the sub tab that Wireless Security. On this page you will see the Security Mode. If your security mode is set to WEP you will have four sets of keys available. To known which key to use look for the Default Transmit (Tx) Key, If your default transmit key is set to 1, then you will use the key in Network key 1 to connect to the wireless network. Now if your Security mode is set to WPA (Personal/Pres-Shared Key/PSK) what's inside the WPA-shared key or Pass phrase / Personal Key box is the network key for your wireless network.

Dont know wpa number

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. If you want to obtain the WPA or Network Key on your router you need to access the Wireless Settings Page. To access the router page you need a working computer that is connected to the router. To access your router you need to use a computer that is connected to it. Open a Browser then type 192.168.0.1 or http://routerlogin.net. The Default username is admin and the password is password. Password is case sensitive.

Go to the Wireless Tab select Wireless Security under the Security Mode you will see there Network Key or Passphrase. The Network Key serves as a password or security code on your network to make it secure.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Cant get wireless on new netbook

The info you have so far is correct. The WEP is your network's security key. It's just like the key to your front door. If you have it, you can get in. The WEP was set when your network was set up. Usually it's a 5 letter word which when encrypted comes out to 10 letters.
Dial in to your router by typing 192.168.1.1 in your browser(Internet Explorer) window. Enter the user name, "admin" & the password, "password". Go to the router security page and there you will see all the information about your network. At the bootom left of the page is the security WEP information. There are four keys encrypted from the original word. The trick is in knowing which of the 4 keys was used. I guess you'll have to try them one by one. Most usually it's key #1, so its a relief if it is. Write the keys on a piece of paper and logout.
When you boot your netbook, it will look for all available networks in your area. Your router will be broadcasting its SSID (network name). Choose your netswork & click "connect". You will be asked for a WEP and you can now type in the ten letters. The netbook will now go ahead a connect up. If it doesn't, try the next WEP key on your list.
