Check if the rear washer jet housing is tight in the top of the hatch this causes this kind of peoblems.
Or go through these steps to fix the problem.
Dripping Taps A dripping tap can be an annoyance as well as a waste of water, a waste of energy if it is a hot tap, and can leave nasty stains on your bath or sink. It is also easier to fix than you might think, often just a replacement washer is needed, and by doing it yourself, you could save on expensive plumbing costs.
You'll need a spanner, a flathead and crosshead screwdriver, a cloth and some wire wool, washers
There are a few different types of taps:
Taps that turn on and off with a quarter of a turn - ceramic discs inside a replaceable cartridge. Taps that take several turns - rubber sealing washers, different sizes depending on whether they are basin or bath taps. Mixer taps - often small washers. As different taps will have different size washers, it is worth checking which one you need first and taking the old one in as an example or buying a selection so that you are sure you will have the correct size.
You will need to turn of the water supply to the tap, this will either be by turning the supply off completely - usually under or near the kitchen sink - or if the supply pipe to the tap has an isolating valve, you can turn the water off here by turning the valve ball will a screwdriver. Once done, you should open the tap up fully to check the water is off. A trickle of water may come out but that should be all.
Take off the screw handle. Depending on what type of tap it is you can either just:
pull it off. unscrew the screw from under the hot or cold indicator disc and then pull it off. undo the small screw set in its underside - if an old style tap. Once the handle is removed, you should now see the stem of the tap with a brass nut holding it in place. Unscrew this buy turning it anti clockwise with a spanner, then lift out the tap stem.
The washer is on the bottom of this piece, you need to prise it off and clean any corrosion or scale off the stem with wire wool and a cloth before putting a new washer, the same size back on. You may be able to just push it back on, or it may be held on by a small nut.
Reassemble the tap correctly and turn on your water supply.

1987 Corvette when parked overnight in the garage drips a clear fluid not oil or anti freeze

Where in relation to the car's underside is this fluid coming from?

Side: Check washer bottle reservoir, any fluid filled engine mounts, and power steering hoses and reservoir.

Middle: Check engine sump, front and rear crankshaft seals, and gearbox seals.

Also if you drive with the airconditioning on, then the airconditioning drain vent for condensation is usually just slightly off centre, behind the engine. This is normal though, and doesn't constitute a fault.

If you can jack your vehicle up and inspect it, this would be the best thing.

Good luck.

Water leaking from icemaker

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.
If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

Hotpoint model #ctxy14epjrwh slow water drip from inside of the refrigerator. inside the top of the frig, center, there are several components that appear to come down from the freezer. the lowest one...

That water is from the melting frost of the automatic defrost cycle. Their is drain in the freezer behind the back wall under the evaperator coil that is blocked, so instead of defrost water draining it's pooling in the freezer or in some case espically on models with the freezer on the top,the water is leaking from the freezer vents into the fresh food compartment.
The way to clear the drain is remove back plate and remove all ice build up and GENTLY make a small hole in drain through then totally flush w/warm water.
The exact location of drain is under the coil behind back freezer plate in the centeroldtech2332_52.jpg

I have a sub zero model 650 refridgerator. It is making some ice then it seems as though the water keeps dripping and it freezes up the shelves. Its like the water doesn't shut off when its suppose to...

Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects theb you need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking same part needs replaced. The water valve at the bottom rear of fridge.
Thank you for using fixya

Kelvinator aircon is dripping water from air vent in house

Sounds as if unit is freezing over----typically a response to lack of proper ventilation-----check all filters and access panels to unit and clear or clean as needed-----if unit has a drip pan make sure unit has been positioned properly so as to catch excess......properly ventilating unit should resolve issue though

The air conditioner use to drip water - it no longer does drip water and continues to freeze over. what could be wrong

It could either be low on refrigerant, a possible dirty coil, or an air flow problem. Rare cases I've seen dirty condensers cause freeze ups.

Fan is a big issue. New problem though.

good day!first and foremost, in most freezers, the highest freezing point is 7.in regards with the water dripping from the air vent hole, you have to minimize your your freezing setting to the middle.turn it to 3 or 4 freezing point.
