Question about IBM ThinkPad R52 Notebook
I have a r52 IBM thinkpad but its wireless function is not working even if i press the function key,only bluetooth is activated and not the wifi.i even installed drivers for that but it does not show drivers.pls suggest someting.
You should check the BIOS. Although it is extremely unlikely that the BIOS has it disabled.
Verify that whether you have a wireless card installed from there.
If so some new laptops have a switch which disables the wireless card. This can be usually be found on front or sides. You could also check device manager and make sure the NIC is enabled.
To get the device manager
Start -> Run
Type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
Expand and check for X or ! with red / yellow color for each (if on a failure that will be shown)
