Question about iLO 2600 Television
This morning when I turned on my television it was black and white, now I go threw my VCR to get surround sound, could it be that my VCR is shot? Please hlep me the TV isn't a year old. It was a gift, so I don't have the receipt for it.
First, check the co-axial cable that enters the satellite receiver. It may be loose or have an inferior connector. Look closely at the cable end...look for a very small strand of the braided shielding material that may be touching (or very close to) the center copper needle. If that is the case either replace the fitting or use something (small pocket knife blade) to move it away or get it out of the connection.
If that doesn't do it, connect satellite receiver directly to the TV bypassing the VCR. That will tell you if it is a VCR problem.
