SOURCE: unit no longer heats
If ur AC is not coolling properly thn u must go for replacing a fuse, resetting a circuit breaker or checking to see if the thermostat is set properly. If an electrical problem isn't the cause, the refrigerant may be low if the system still runs but does not cool properly. This can be corrected by having an EPA certified technician add necessary refrigerant. Most likely, if the problem involves any major part, such as the compressor, you would hear strange noises similar to those of any mechanical equipment not running correctly, or the unit might not run at all.
Go for replacing both theoutdoor condensing unit (which includes the compressor) and the indoor coil on my central air conditioning system at the same time
Matching a new condensing unit with a new coil is the only reliable way to be certain you are going to get the rated efficiency of the new equipment. Matching a new, high SEER (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) condensing unit with an old indoor coil probably would not result in optimum efficiency.
Dont forget to rate me as fixya..

SOURCE: Laars LX Pool Heater ,blower
I had to replace both hi limit sensors in mine. The sockets that they fit into has a plug inside that corrodes and allows clorine water to escape. I had to put the plugs in with auto gasket sealant around threads only. This solution helps but the sensors should be inspected now and then for corrosion. Lithium grease on electrical conectors on the bottom of sensor helps to. This area is attacked by corrosion big time along with top. (winterizing) On low pressure switch inside the heater the copper tube must be undone on switch or undrained clorine will clog up lower tube with corrosion. This blocks low pressure switch from working. Then you have to cut small piece off and redo the tubing. Been there done that. For the most part the Laars hasnt been a bad pool heater but the hi limit sensors along with the plugs could have been engineered better. Good luck and watch the ph...StLouis

SOURCE: Raypak pool heater, error HL2
It is probably the pressure switch. Remove the hose from the inducer and **** in and then blow lightly several times. It is probably stuck in the either the open or closed position. If this isn't the problem, check your manual reset limit switchs to make sure they haven't tripped. Also, make sure your are getting power to the ignighter as well.

Do you have power to the heater? If you do then I would look for a hi limit switch to reset. It might be the pump you have to reset.
