Music + 2 Gb-sd-card = ?

I bought a 2 gb card and loaded 100 music files on the camera. the pc shows that everything's fine but the camera says that there are no music files on the camera. the jukebox-program, however, shows me all the correct files on the sd card AND the needed space is used on the card!

Just an FYI, I bought a 16 GB SDHC card for my eware (Panasonic SV-AV20) and found out that the highest compatible card for this device is only 1 GB! (according to http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/connect/d_snap/sv_av20.html). I kept getting a "CHECK CARD" error so I know it won't work. You might want to see if your devlice is listed on a similar chart.

I have a Polaroid i1032 10.0 megapixel camera. the user guide says that i can use up to a 1 gb SD memory card. I've used a 2 gb SD card and it works fine. My question is can I use SDHC cards 2 gb, 4 gb, 8...

At the time your camera was made, 1GB was the max size standard SD card. Then along came 2GB standard SD, but this card also used the same format as previous cards, so yes it also worked in your camera. Now SDHC is a very different format with different file handling (although externally it looks exactly the same). I'm sorry to say, it is very unlikely that SDHC will work with your camera. Here on Fixya you'll see many folks asking why the brand new card they just bought doesn't work with their older camera. 9 time out of 10, this is the reason why.

How do you download music on a dsi

Hello sherribaxley

As far as I know, there is no direct way to download music onto your DSi. In order to listen to songs on your DSi, you will first need to copy the songs you want to listen to onto a compatible SD or SDHC card. Not all songs are compatible with the DSi. Some songs may be copy protected and will not work. The DSi is compatible with AAC audio files with a filename extension of .m4a, .mp4, or .3gp.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- A compatible SD or SDHC Card. The DSi is compatible with SD cards up to 2 GB and SDHC cards up to 32 GB.
- Compatible music files stored on a PC or MAC.
- An SD Card slot in the PC or MAC, or an external reader/writer

WHAT TO DO

1. Insert the card into the slot.
2. Open Windows Explorer (for PC) or Finder (for Mac) and select the drive being used by the card to open it.
3. Open another instance of Windows Explorer or Finder and navigate to where the music is stored.
4. Highlight the desired file(s) and/or folders, copy them, and then paste them into the first instance of Windows Explorer or Finder to create copies on the card.

If you need to convert the format of your music files, there are many freeware applications available to download on the web. I personally would suggest using iTunes, as it has a built in AAC converter.

Hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you require any further assistance.

Recocnizing micro sd card

The original Blackjack will not recognize anything larger than 2gb. Sorry, but you just wasted buying those 4 gb. cards. I found this out the hard way too when I bought my daughter a 4gb card for her Blackjack. I have a BJ2 which will recognize the 4gb cards.

Music folder says no files

Check your local memory on your mp3 player. That's where the files actually loaded.

Adding SD card to my ILO

What, you actually hotwired a flash card into the Ilo? Impressive. Or are you trying to get the Ilo to play music from an SD card, when you have both plugged into the computer? If you're talking about the first, then I'd say you did a good job at NOT destroying your Ilo. If its the second, then unplug your Ilo, put your headphones into the headphones jack in the computer, and play the music from your computer.
