Question about Krups FLF2 Cordless Electric Kettle
The power cord to the kettle base has recently started to get extremely hot whenever i use it to make hot water The tag on the bottom of the kettle says its a 120V model # AC16D1712AM its several years old and never did this before.
The thermostat is not shutting the unit down and cycling it on/off as it should. This will cause the power cord to overheat and it will catch fire. STOP using this unit and either replace it or have it repaired. More than likely cheaper to just replace it.
