If it uses the little one pound green gas cylinders they normally push and click on the gas inlet and stay in place due to two small little metal pressure bands which release when you pull the gas cylinder back off. make sure its in the off position when you are putting it on. good luck.

SOURCE: Can use gas for my liquid porpane grill

Yes you can as long as your home uses LPG. You can not use 2 regulators. If your outside line is after your home regulator you need to eliminate the regulator on your grill. LPG products operate on 11" of water column, that's about 1/2" PSI.

I have a Kenmore 14116329 propane grill. The propane tank is full but when I turn on the burners very little gas comes out resulting in a VERY low flame. Is it the regulator or???

It is most likely the saftey check valve in the tank. The procedure is to:
  • Close tank valve.
  • Disconnect hose connection from grill to tank.
  • Wait
  • Reconnect hose connection from grill to tank
  • "Slowly" open valve on tank to release gas back into grill
Through on some steaks

If still a problem replace tank.
The check valve that can cause your problem drastically reduces propane flow in case of an accident and the lines are ruptured
Hope this helps?

Why wont my old grill work with new propane tank

Turn off propane. Disconnect propane tank from barbecue. Open burner valves for about 20 seconds. Close valves. Reattach propane tank. Slowly open propane tank valve. Turn on burner and ignite

Where can I find a replacement oring for the regulator end that screws into the grill

Your local propane supplier. They are made of a special material so that propane won't react with it.

I'm going to hook up the grill to our house propane gas line and not use a propane tank. Will I need a special hook up device? Where is the connection on the grill? Thank you. Frank...

Yes Frank, you will need some specialty parts. The gas line from your tank will need a shut off valve near the grill. You cannot hard pipe the line to the grill. Code requires that your use a 12' long, rubber, Quick Disconnect Gas Hose. They are normally sold as a kit and should have all the necessary fittings. You will need to remove the grill's hose/regulator assembly, as it won't be necessary any more. That is, unless you have a high pressure propane system. Then you will need a regulator on the gas line coming from the tank to the grill. If that is the case, it should have the capacity to carry the maximum Btu output of your grill, if all the burners where ON and at their highest setting, at the same time. And finally, and probably the most important, have the knowledge and skill necessary to properly hookup an outdoor gas appliance. Or have a good friend that is a Certified Gas Technician to help you. Of course, your propane provider would probably do it for you. Which, might be money well spent.

Hope it all works out for you and Happy Grilling!!

New Tank won't light Weber Grill

Try checking the regulator, this is the round metal piece connected to the gas line. If this is not level flat the valve inside will not let propane flow through.

We received a natural gas connection bbq and don't have access to gas...is it possible to convert to propane tank connector.

no all components of grill need to be converted to propane. cheaper to buy new grill. Call Manufacture and see if they sell conversion kit. Most companies don't do to liability matters,
