It's a common problem with this set. It's caused by a bad solder connection in the horizontal drive circuit.Without a scope and diagrams you'll have to "shotgun it". I would start by resoldering the connections on and close to the H. O. Transistor,try turnining the set on .If the picture does not come back ,then resolder more connections in the same area until the picture comes back on.These bad connections are normaly very hard to see with the naked eye , so could take a lot of resoldering before you find the right one.
