Grundig GDP 6124 DVD player will not work properly (video washed out & no sound) with Samsung UA32D5000 LED TV but works with a Panasonic TV. Any solutions?

This almost sounds like the player is PAL and the set is NTSC--the picture and sound issue fit that perfectly......

My center and surrond sound speakers don't work with just one output from my dvd do I need to purchase an amplifier also?

You need to first check whether your dvd player supports dolby 5.1. If it supports that then you could connect the digital output of your dvd player to a surround receiver such as Yamaha RX-661. You can then connect all the speakers to the output of RX-661 which has 7 inbuilt amplifiers for all the channels. Its a 7 channel receiver and would be useful with DVD-Audio and such that comes in 7 channels. For your requirement any 5 channel receiver will do. Please let me know if you need any more clarifications.

I lookig to connect a external speaker with philips divx dvd player. Is there any speaker available with inbuilt amplifier.

The bottom range speakers will just have the stereo attachment and will look cheap and will give you bad sound output in a large room.

However if you get active speakers this means that they have an external power source (AC plug) then you will be able to increase the dB power output to the maximum that the speaker will deliver however on bottom end speakers you will get amplitude clipping and speaker cone vibration however it is the cheaper option.

The best method is to pipe the 3.5 " stereo jack output or 2 x RCA phono outputs to a decent amplifier on a midi hi-fi system or similar that will be able to handle the vibrations and power output

Grundig TV - Tuning DVD & VCR

Hi there!
If the DVD recorder has an RF out then you should be able to tune it on UHF bandwidth. The cable should run from the RF Out on the recorder to RF on the TV. Switch the recorder on, put in a DVD and press play before tuning. Some DVD's require a disc before a Menu appears. Good Luck, Regards, JUS004
