Question about HP 5500 Color Laser Printer With Internal Print Srver (554000042) Print Server
Hi i had the same problem with mine, i found that putting the old colour back in , restarting the printer till it gets to the checking the colours again, it will obliviously say that the cartridge is out again, so then replace it with the new one, then restart it again, also check the contacts inside where the cartridge plugs into, this could have a bit of dirt on it and may just need cleaning, or try another cartridge as you can never guarantee even new ones have problems with their chips...hope this helps get back to me if still having problems..

According to your problem first clean the toner cartridge by dry cotton carefully. May be the toner is almost finished or get damp few toner of the cartridge. Refill the toner cartridge. Then install the cartridge properly and reboot it. It will solve your problem.
