Question about Apple iPod touch
Well only thing you could try is giving it to apple store, but not sure even if its worth it as they are gonna charge hell lotta money.
this might sound funny but keep it away for a few days and then plug it back in ... Might work all of a sudden...

Hi,you could try taking to a repair shop, they may be able to change the case over for you!!
It may not help this time but if you ever get anything like this wet again the thing to remember is PATIENCE don't rush, let it dry out properly before trying to use/charge it (2-3 days at-least) . Don't force dry with heat from a hair dryer or placing on a radiator, place it in a bag of dry rice, this will draw out the moisture.
