Wash doesn't progress. It goes the first couple of clicks and doesn't go onto the next wash function. Any ideas?

This is a issue with your timer. You will need to replace the timer switch on your unit, you can go to your local appliance repair store and buy one for about 30 dollars. It will come with full instructions for removal of the old timer and installing the new one. Please rate

Going through full wash as normal but won,t go onto rinse or spin mode?

Hi,
Most front load units must have two things, door must lock and must sense cold water for rinse. I would check the fill line for the cold water, if clogged with sand, it will not progress through cycle. If the unit doesn't drain it will not spin, is there water left inside the drum area?
I am here if you want more assistance

Machine will not spin or drain water.

I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.

I have a Hoover 550 MB Top Loader washing machine . The cycle won't move from wash to spin . it doesn;t progress out of wash cycle , it stays there forever .

Will the unit spin if you manually turn the timer dial to spin? If so, remove power, remove the clock motor from the timer, and inspect the clock and mating timer gearing for debris or damaged gear teeth. At the worst, replace the timer. You may be able to scrape or file the damaged teeth so that the timer will progress.

Ge top load washer, will not spin/rinse but will wash. Clicks through rinse/spin cycle and goes into next wash cycle

Take the front panel off by using a putty knife to release the clips at the top of the front panel. Now, take the thin tube off from the left side of the tub. Clean out the end of the tube, and use a thin wire to clean out the nipple it was pushed onto. Re-attach.

Hotpoint 800 trips mains and juddery and noisey on spin cycle

about the noise and juddering of the unit just adjust the legs at each bottom corner of the washing machine to make it stand flat on the floor. Do not touch the bearing for now!
update me about your progress while I'll check my records for data about your washer.

Good Luck

Aside from complete disassembly & cleaning it, try a hot wash on full with nothing in it except a bunch of bleach.
