To Everyone who needs to reinstall their VX-1000 Webcam, the file you need is LifeCam1_3VX.exe, if you cannot source your CD this is the file you need to retrieve from internet, I did a lot of searching and eventually found it, this one works 100% for me hope it does for you too.

After downloading and installing the driver update, it stops at about 85% and comes up with an error that it cannot go any further ..no explanation whatsoever..the camera was disabled prior to installation if one needs to know this.
