I have an old soundstream reference class a 5.0 and a set of mb quart pwe 254 10 duel voice coil subs. i would like to know how to wire this set up for the most power. parrallel the voice coils then run...

The Soundstream Class A 5.0 will deliver its full power at 1 ohms mono.
I think your subs are two dual 4 ohm voice coils.
If you wire the voice coils for each sub in PARALLEL, that's 2 ohm for each sub. To get 1 ohm mono, you need to hook up the subs in PARALLEL to the amplifier, in bridge mode. That's the way to get to 1 ohm mono. Please add a fan to your setup as the amplifier will get very hot. You will need to use a relay to hook up the amplifiers and fan(s) to or you will damage the remote ouput of your HU (if you hook up the fan straight to the remote of the HU) as the remote output of the HU is not designed for the amount of current a fan draws.
Good luck. If you need help with the relay issue, have a look here: http://www.caraudiohelp.com/newsletter/multiple_amplifiers.htm

How many watts dose this amp put out for one 12" sub??

It depends on the ohms of the sub. spec for this amp says:
312Watts @ 2ohms
If you have a 4 ohm sub then you are pushing an estimated 120Watts.For more power you either need to convert to a 2ohm sub or use 2x 4ohms in parallel circuit. The inch of the sub doesn't tell how many ohms it describes how much air it moves.

Alpine in dash tv issue

this is the problem with the additional battery wiring. use appropriate cutout and do rewiring. make sure the Dynamo has the enough capacity to charge both the batteries. better avoid using your music system till the problem is rectified.

Does the crown vic police intercepter take as much oil as the regular crown vic? (when changing the oil and filter)

I ~think~ the 1999 is the same as the 2000 (mine is a 2000 P71)

The 2000 CVPI (Crown Vic Police Interceptor) owners manual recommends the following:

Engine Oil - Motorcraft SAE 5W-30 Super Premium Motor Oil 5.0 quarts

Transmission Fluid - Motorcraft Mercon V ATF 13.9 quarts (fluids Mercon & Mercon V are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE, DO NOT MIX)

Fuel Tank - 19.0 gallons

Break Fluid - DOT 3

Rear Axle Lubricant - Motorcraft 80W-90 Premium Rear Axle Lubricant 3.75 pints (add 4 oz of Additive Friction Modifier C8AZ-19B546-A or equilavent meeting Ford Spec. EST-M2C118-A for complete refill of Traction-Lok Rear Axles)

Engine Data - 4.6L V8 Engine
Cubic Inches - 281
Required Fuel - 87 Octane
Firing Order - 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
Spark Plug Gap - 1.3-1.4 mm (0.052-0.056 inch)
Ignition System - Coil On Plug
Compression Ratio - 10.0:1

I hope this helps!

Kenwood Speakers

thats a reall ry broad question, speakers are what you prefer i could tell you a least 4 different speakers that i like ,but then someone else could tell you what they like as well it really just goes on what you like and have heard, also you did not specify if your using the regular speakers in a car or subwoofers  but even still its really a matter on preference,i can however offer som good brand name for you to lookup, pioneer, sony, lanzar, pyle, clarion, hiphonix, rockford fosgate, mb quart, cerwin vega, all make decent speakers both regular and subs, well i wouldnt recommend sony subs but thier 6 1/2 are decent enough,oh yes also polk audio they have a pretty nice brand all around thier db series is very nice try circuit city they are going out of business so hurry quick at anyrate as i said its a matter of preference, a good source for speakers amps sub and what not is sonicelectronix they have a little of everything in there as well as reviews on different items so look around ask ppl around who are audio philes in your area see what they suggest listn to to different stuff and see what you like.

Car stereo im trying to build

I guess the question you need to ask yourself then is how much money are you willing to spend? If you are looking for a sound quality system then it WILL cost a lot more than a DB all out BASS system. The system that you have picked out isn't a bad one but as with all systems this in only half the story. You will need to have it installed well to get the best from the speakers that you have chosen too. If you want to have the stealth look in the cabin then it's pretty simple, but you will not get the best sound quality or should I say imaging as the OEM locations usually are no good for this.

I would suggest that even though you keep things looking stealthy in the cabin apply sound deadening to the doors as Asian cars are generally quite tinny unlike German cars. This will make a big difference in terms of overall sound quality & help keep out the road noise so you can hear every little detail of your personalised system.
