Question about Home
If you can blow into the tube to turn your unit off and on then it sounds like the button assembly itself has zonked out. Those button assemblies by themselves are almost if not totally impossible to get by themselves. Depending on the color of your tub or if that is even an issue at this point, purshase an In-sink-erator air switch package and your local Home Depot/Lowes, and carefully cut open the package. I believe your options are chrome or white and you want to be able to return it without hassel if you need to. There are different kinds if button assemblies but generally all accept the same size air line. As a simple test, plug your new assembly into the line without installing it and see if it works. If it does and it fits your existing hole you have it. Be sure you only hand tighten the locking nut as it is plastic and if you break it it is NOT replaceable and you own what you bought. Also, In-sink-erator may now have different colored button assemblies available, so check that out too. Don't lose your original receipt!
