Can you tell me what a 5100 error means? I have seen a number of cases where people are discussing what it might mean and how a unknown problem might be fixed but can anyone tell me definitively what a 5100 error is? In my case, a nearly brand new MP610 was printing at high speed when an ominous clunk bought the whole thing to a stop! After attempting to power off and restart several times I have come to the conclusion that a major mechanical malfunction has taken place and the machine is heading back to the dealer. Still would like to know about the 5100 error for future reference. Thanks - who said anything about paying for advice!!!!
