How do i change the background on my aspire one ive been trying to change my background and i dont know how to do it its not the same as other computer ive right clicked on the backgroung and looked for property and even looked under the start menu

go to google.com and in the search box type step by stop on how to change your wallpaper in microsoft windows. select the first link. many examples. good luck.

What OS is installed on the Aspire One? If you have Windows 7 Starter, you will need to upgrade to a higher version of Windows 7. The fixed background is a limit of the Starter edition. If you have XP or a higher version of Windows, you should be able to change the background. In the other versions of WIndows 7, right click on the desktop and choose Personalize.
find the photo (from internet,store on pc or flash drive) you like to have as background (its called wallpaper)...see the file /photo right click on the photo save as wallpaper...apply...you are done
nothing works i tried setting my background and i even right-clicked the picture & clicked the set as background & it didnt do anything the picture stayed the same as before. Can anyone give me any advise on how to fix this problem , Like is it even possible to change the background on an acer computer ?
