Trying to connect to the internet for netflix to wii

Well you need first a home internet connection, and a wireless router. After that just go to the wii system menu, settings, internet, and you can connect to your wireless router with the password you setup on the computer to the router.

2. Scroll right until you see the Internet option then select
3. Select Connection Settings
4. Clear all your previous internet settings, or select one of the three presets that says none
5. Select wireless connection then search for an access point

7. input the password for it if you have one then follow the onscreen instructions

Hope this helps!

We are unable to connect our Wii to the internet. I believe it has something to do with the renewal of my AVG security, but I cannot figure out what it is. Can you help me?????

It has nothing to do with your AVG antivirus as the Wii doesn't connect through you computer to the Internet, it connects to to the Internet via your wireless router (most common) or a wired router with a Wii LAN adapter (uncommon connection, adapter sold separately). Here is everything you need to know about connecting your Wii to the Internet.

Can you connect the wii to internet using a verizon usb internet connection no cable or wi fi

It is not possible to stick your usb in to your wii and let it connect on to the internet. However, you can plug it into a computer, which makes it give off a wireless signal. Your wii should be able to pick up the signal, so you can then connect to the internet. If your not sure how to configure the wii to connect to the internet, email me at [email protected]

How to set up nintendo wii internet

  • 1 In order to set up your Nintendo Wii internet connection, you need to have high speed internet service, such as DSL, cable, or fiber optic.

If you want to use a wired connection for your Wii, you will need to purchase the Nintendo Wii Lan Adapter and a long ethernet cable to reach your router or modem. The Wii Lan adapter is available from many sources for about $30 and the cable will cost you around $10 or more. If you want to plug in your computer and Wii at the same time, you will need a router. You do not need a router if you are planning on unplugging your computer when you use Wii over the internet. Honestly, wireless routers cost about $35 and don't require a cable, so I purchased a wireless router instead. Plus, I don't want an ugly cable running across the room.

If you still want to use the Wii Lan adapter to connect to the internet, here are the steps to connect your Wii Lan adapter to your Wii game system:

Make sure your Wii game system is turned off.

Attach the Wii Lan adapter to the USB port on the back of your console.

Connect the other end to an ethernet cable that goes to your router or modem.

    Turn your console back on.

If you are using the Nintendo Wii Lan Adapter to connect to the internet, follow this step. If you are connecting to the internet via a wireless router, skip this step and go to step 3.

To connect your Wii via a wired connection:

    Go to the Wii Menu.

Click on the round Wii button on the lower left corner.

    Click Wii Settings.

Click the right arrow to go to page 2.

    Click on the Internet button.

    Click Connection Settings.

    Click Connection 3.

    Click Wired Connection.

Your Wii will do a connection test and hopefully everything will be all set. You are now finished.

To connect your Wii via a wireless connection:

    Go to the Wii Menu.

Click on the round Wii button on the lower left corner.

    Click Wii Settings.

Click the right arrow to go to page 2.

    Click on the Internet button.

    Click Connection Settings.

    Click Connection 3.

    Click Wireless Connection.

Select Search for Access Point. Click OK.

Select the access point you want to use. Click Save and OK.

You may be prompted to enter your password.

Your Wii should now be all connected.
