I sprayed WD40 into locking mechanism once or twice. After a couple of days, it started working again.

SILICONE SPRAY LUBRICANT. Contacted Yakima about same problem with stuck hubs. They recommended silicone spray lubricant (likely because it does not harm plastics). Shot some of it in each hub behind the red release triggers, and within a few seconds they were working better than new.

I'm having the same problem! Did you ever find a solution? I was thinking of taking the whole rack apart.

2003 kia sorento sunroof jammed

spray WD40 on it, and try to work it into the mechanism with a toothbrush. This is a solvent and a lubricant, it may loosen it up by melting any dirt stuck in there. After an hour wiggle all the moving parts and see it loosens up and can move ok.

I need to replace the Rack on a Delta 16 1/2 inch Drill press, model 17925. Do I need to pull the drill head or is there an easier way ?

I looked at a schematic and owners manual for a 17-950, COULDN'T find the one you listed and if I am not mistaken I believe there is a collar holding the rack in position and if you snug the table or somehow keep from falling you can loosen the collar and using the height adjustment move the rack so you can remove it. BUT I also found a dedicated help line that I would suggest calling first about this and the number is 1-800-223-7278.

Just below dish loading door there is a panel. Remove screws (if applicable) to find tension adjustment. Turn screw to the left to loosen or opposite lifting door open or closed untill happy with tension. Some washers have no adjustment, I suggest opening door fully and pulling out bottom load tray, loading and then top tray or rack, pushing top in first then bottom rack. Use a glass fry pan cover or fry pan for weight on door while filling soap. Good luck, best regards

The front right tire is making a scrapping nosie the the tire is rotating. I pull the tire off but was unable to rotate it because the brake is lock. Any thing i should do.

try loosening the adjuster, a brake pad could have come off and is scraping the hub, if you can't adjust it take off hub and look for damage

How do i remove the rear drum on a 2006 chevrolet cobalt

it theoretically should just pull off, there is nothing fastening it to the hub. they do get stuck on due to rust, heat etc. you can loosen it off by hitting the face with a hammer, being careful not to damage the studs sticking out. it may be stubborn, keep hitting it in different spots (between the 4 studs) and rotating the drum while trying to pull it off. good luck!

Brake drums

the brake shoes are likely stuck in the grooves worn into the drum. You need to back off the brake shoe adjusting wheel to loosen the brake shoes.
Also, the face of the drum usually has a couple of threaded holes you can screw bolts into to help pull the drums toward you.

First, hit all the way around the brake drum with a big hammer to loosen the drum from the center hub.
Then, istall the screws to help pull the drum.

to back off the adjuster with a screwdriver:

  1. NOTE: If the brake drum will not come off, follow these steps.
  2. Loosen the brake shoe adjusting screw nut (2047).
  3. Using a screwdriver, move the brake shoe adjusting lever (2A176) off the brake adjuster screw (2041).
  4. NOTE: Move the adjustment tool handle downward to loosen the brake shoe adjusting screw nut.
Use the Brake Adjustment Tool to loosen the brake shoe adjusting screw nut.
please give a good rating if this helps.
