They can be either fixed like regular bike tires (patched) or you can get tires at many retailers that sell bike tubes

Hi, most bicycle shops can supply replacement inner tubes for prams/joggers.

Hope that helps

How to change back innertube on 26" mongoose estes bike

First turn the adjuster on the rear brake handle all the way in and make sure the slots on the adjuster and set nut are lined up, pull the brake cable out and leave it attached to the lever to open the rear brake pads, loosen the bolts on the tire and pull the derailer up to remove the tire, remove the dustcap from tube and using a flat tool (Wal-Mart has tire tools for $1) take one side of the tire bead out of the rim, pull the old tube out, place the stem of the new tube in the hole and put the cap on, tuck the new tube in the tire trying to keep it flat as possible, push the bead of the tire back into the rim. before inflating the tire, put it back on the frame while pulling the derailer up to get the chain back on the cogs( they will adjust later) tighten the bolts and inflate the tire to desired pressure (between 35-60 psi)

How to Change a Flat Bicycle Tire

1) Begin by looking at your old bicycle tire, and find the dimesions of the tire on its side. Write down these dimesions, becuase you must then go buy a new innertube for the tire that is the same (or about the same) size. I suggest going to a bicycle store; at the one near me tires run about 5-10 dollars.

2) With this new innertube in hand, you can begin changing your bike tire. You must start by taking off the entire bike wheel. To do this you need a hexagonal-shaped wrench thingy that looks like this:

See the hexagonal wrenches on the left side? You're ging to need something like that to remove the wheel. If you don't already have one, you can get this one from here (Walmart.com), or you can look up 'bike tool' on Amazon or Ebay.

3) You then use this tool to remove two hexagonal bolts, one on either side of the wheel; shown here:

Then use a flathead screwdriver or another falt object/tool to pop the outer tire off to expose the old innertube inside, like this:

4) Remove this old innertub, and put the new one around the wheel. It might seem a little big, but that's okay. Proceed by slipping the outer tire back on over the new innertube, using the same tool you got it off with.

5) Put the wheel back on the bike, screw the bolts back in, and inflate the tire to whatever PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) it says on the side of the tire.

6) You're bike is ready to ride again!

My wheelbarrow has a flat tire, how can I change it?

Depending on the type of wheelbarrow you have and the tires that it takes you might just need to patch the tire and then pump it with air, replace the innertube, or replace the whole tire.

How do i fix flat tires for the 36" john deere stake wagon?

It should have innertubes like a bicycle. Just take the wheel off and use a flathead screwdriver to pry one side of the tire off the rim. Be careful to not damage the tube when doing this. Once u have one side of the tire over the rim you can pull the tube out. You can use any bicycle tube repair kit to fix any leaks you find. Easiest way for small tubes like this is just fill a sink with water, air up the tube and put it under the water to find any leaks.

How do i change the innertube in my rear tire

I think we can get you through this pretty easy. First release the rear brake. There should be a quick release at the brake it self or the caliper (squeeze brake and turn tab if it is there) One nut on either side of the rear wheel...should be 5/8th. You don't need to remove the nut just take it to the end of the axle on either side. Push the wheel forward while holding the de-railer all the way back. This will allow the wheel to drop down. That de-railer makes it look a lot more intimidating than it is. When you go to put it back on just hold it out of your way again. Be really easy if a person had three hands but it works with two.

Every other week i'm getting flat tyres very unexpectedly. The tyre pressure warning light comes on but instantly the tyre is completely flat. Apparently its due to corrosion of alloy rims, how can i get...

Hi,

A temporary workaround/remedy is to put innertube inside the tire. Even if the alloy rims could not longer provide a good air tight seal, the inner tube would still hold the air. You may need to specify the tire size and width. Additionally, you may want to ask your tireman to likewise install a buffer of some sort between the innertube and the alloy rim. This is to prevent the any sharp portion of the corroded alloy rim puncturing the inner tube. Some local tiremen use a cutoff/old inner tubre as buffer.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
