Press Int followed by the # key.

For more instructions, go to the Panasonic site, and download the operating instructions for the model KC-TCD445E (with answering machine - this is the same as the KX-A144ES) or KC-TCD440E (no answering machine).

Just purchased Panasonic model #KX-TGF380 phone system. How do I turn off built in answering message and record my own message

Make sure that none of the handsets are in use. First, record your own message. Press Menu then # 3 0 2 from the base unit or any handset. Menu is the middle soft key below the LCD screen on the base unit. It's the right soft key below the LCD screen on the handsets. The # key is below the 9. Use the Up/Down arrows to highlight Yes and then press Select. See the screen for the appropriate soft key. After the beep, speak your message while you are 20 cm (8 inches) from the microphone on the handset or base unit. Press Stop when finished. (The phone will stop recording if your message is 2 minutes long.) Press Exit on the base or Off on the handset to leave the menu system.

Turn on the answering machine. Press the button with cassette tape symbol on the base. Press Menu # 3 2 7 on the handset. Your greeting should be heard by incoming callers unless the unit is set to Greeting Only or the memory is full. To check this, press Menu # 3 0 5 . Again, use the up/down arrows to highlight your choice. Press the appropriate soft key to Save the setting.

If you do not want to use the numbers, you can use the Up/Down arrows and Select. Press Menu, highlight Answering Device. Then highlight Greeting. Then select Record Greeting for the first step.

These steps are available in the manual. All except for the greeting length are on page 57. The last section is on page 63. This is available from the product site: http://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/corded-telephones/KX-TGF38.html#q=KX-TGF380&start=1 . Click on the Support tab. The direct link to the manual is ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tgf380_en_om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Record message on Pansonic kxtg4021 cordless phone answer machine

With the phone in standby, press Menu on one handset. Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate to Answering Device. Press OK. Navigate to Greeting and press OK. Select Record Greeting and press OK. Highlight Yes using the Up/Down arrows and press OK. After you hear the beep, hold the handset about 8" (20 cm) away and speak your message. Press OK when you have finished the message. (The recording will end after 2 minutes.) Press Off to exit the menu system.

The answering system may need to be on for this option to be available. You can turn it on by pressing the Answer On button on the base. Alternatively, press Menu and navigate to Answering Device. Press OK and select Answer On. Press OK. Press Off to exit the menu.

The manual for the KX-TG4021 is available from Panasonic on the product site: http://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG4021N.html . The direct link to the manual is ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg4011_mul_om.pdf . See page 28.

I hope this helps.

How do I change message on panasonic KX-TGA652 cordless phone

To change the answering machine greeting message, make sure that the phone is in standby mode. Press Menu on the handset, then navigate to Answering Device with the Up/Down arrows. Press Select and then navigate to Greeting. Press Select again and highlight Record Message. Press Select and then confirm this by selecting Yes and pressing Select once more. Hold the handset about 20 cm (7.5") away from your mouth and speak the new greeting clearly. Press Stop when done and then press Off.

Alternatively, you can press # 3 0 2 after pressing Menu. Then highlight Yes and press Select. This is given in the manual for the phone. Panasonic has the manual here: http://panasonic.ae/en/manuals/KX-TG6541.pdf . See page 32.

Note: this greeting will only play if the answering system is on and you have the system respond before any telephone provider Voicemail system answers the call.

I hope this helps.

On my TG 2740 Panasonic base unit the 'answer on' light blinks constantly and 'all mail box full' is blinking also but there are only 17 messages. How do I clear the blinking light and the all mail box...

If mail box is full, you cannot record any more messages, and the answering machine is practically useless. You must clear some messages.
Try playing the messages one by one. While a message is being played hit the Erase button. If that works, repeat with every unimportant message.

Most cordless telephone answering machines have a maximum of 14 minutes recording time. You can restrict the length of messages people are allowed to leave. Most default options are 1min or 4 minutes. Some machines give you the option to select Announcement Only. When this option is selected people hear the announcement but cannot leave a message.

Read you manual for more configuration options.

You need to go into Setting BS. Which is in the Menu funtion and then scroll down twice. Then press the arrow right ket and it should say input code. Press star key once then type in the time, and press the right arrow key again to register it. Repeat the same process to enter the date except press the star key twice at the input code stage.
