Yes this is easy,to get the 'cent' symbol just hold down the 'AltGr' key with the '4' key and hey presto!! As for the other symbols you'll have to be a bit more clearer on your question ok!
Actually, there are no fuses. If you use the wrong charger or power supply, with more voltage than it can handle, then you probably burn your Motherboard. To troubleshoot it, take out the battery, and press the power button for some 15 seconds, connect the battery back and try to turn it on. If it doesn't work, you might need another MB or laptop.
S/N usually stands for serial number. Try re-entering any codes or other numbers and if that doesn't work, contact the manufacturer to figure out why the serial number won't work. I hope this helps!
You do not use the serial number to your laptop. You need the serial number for the software. It should be on the disc it or the box the software came in.
