To power the unit back on, press the "Mode" and "Reset" buttons at the same time. Let go of those two buttons, press the power button, and the unit will turn back on."

Navigon easy 40 no sound

The usual problem is the voice volume is turned down. This can happen when you are adjusting the volume down just as turn by turn instructions are starting; thus you don't notice it happened, or someone else did it or software glitch caused it or Murphy's law.
The way to fix it is turn vol up to max and set navigation and start driving. As you get to navigation points where you would expect the turn by turn instructions hit the up volume button. Keep trying it will only go up whilst instructions are being broadcast. Try using repeat last directions function to get a better shot at it.
This happened to me and this was the fix, odd but true.
Also see if there is a turn by turn vol level in settings.
Hope it works for you.

My 2004 Volvo S40 will not start. Tried jumping it this morning but will not jump. Lights work inside and out. Alarm is not working. Key will not turn to the 3rd position.

2 possible solutions - try shifting to neutral and then start the car. This could indicate a problem with a parking sensor in your shifter. 2nd solution is to try turning the steering wheel to the left or the right to see if that lets you turn your key to the 3rd position. It's possible that your steering wheel locked if you parked your car with the wheels turned, and the turned wheels are now putting enough pressure against the steering lock that you are unable to turn the key. Turning the wheel away from the locked position will relieve pressure against the lock allowing you to turn the key.

The voice is too late in telling me where to turn, I am turning before he announces to turn, there is no real time movement

OK first do not set your map so close,, you may want to Zoom out a little

second the gps will tell you at 9 tenths and again at 3 tenths of a mile when to turn, Slow Down

look at the distance again you will see it goes down to Feet left to turn...

GPS are not pinpointed turns but they are within feet of all turns.

Always if traveling carry a paper map if areas are unknown or you lose satellite reception...
