Hi. This could be caused by a few different faults. Some batteries when old, can have a good voltage reading but are unable to supply the amps to drive the machine. Connect a volt-meter to the machine and try and drive it. If the voltage drops right down, then the batteries will be at fault.
Could also be loose battery terminals, or faulty battery lead in-line connectors.
If you suspect your batteries get a serviceman to do a constant current test, and see how the batteries perform.
I had a customer that had been through 6 sets of batteries in 4 years. When he finally asked us for help, we found that his charger was faulty, and overcharging his batteries.
Get a serviceman to record your charger over a complete charging cycle with a data logger, and make sure that your charger is operating corectly.
Do you make long trips in your machine, and how often do you recharge the batteries.
Most batteries are designed with a certain number of "charge cycles". If you drain your batteries by 75%, you will only get a small number of "charge cycles". If you only drain your batteries by 25%, you will get 100's of charge cycles.
Good luck. Neil.

100% - 30% even if i dont start the bike and just turn the key with a full charge all gauges etc work perfect 10 - 20 seconds i turn key off and same thing battery 100% - 33%??????????????

The battery should be removed from the bike and charged and tested for voltage, specific gravity if possible and current discharge.

The details you gave suggest a faulty cell. Even a modest-sized battery stores sufficient current to destroy itself and generate quite a lot of smoke if it really lost 70% of a full charge charge in 20 seconds.

97 jeep wrangler whine at start up. put in mopar new starter and new starter and difficulty starting still

When you say you're having a hard time starting it does that mean it cranks over fine but it just takes a while to start or does that mean the starter is dragging when you try to start it

Buick will not start.

When the battery is as flat as you describe then there will not be enough current for the ignition system. So you have two options before you go any further . Have a load test done on the battery to check for dead cell and if ok have an output test done on the alternator to see that it is charging the battery. Check the condition and tension of the alternator drive belt as it may be loose or slipping . If the head work included increasing the compression pressure then you will need a spot on battery to wind it over fast enough to start.

Bike wont start, something with the Battery circuit or battery, we can push start the bike so the bike does run, I charged the battery and had the battery tested and it tests out fine, when I put in bike...

From your description, it sounds like a bad starter motor. That is provided all of the cables going from battery to relay, and relay to starter are not corroded or have poor connections. The relay is a weak point, so it may be damaged as well if the starter has been pulling too many amps.

If you have someone do a load test on her batteries I'm sure they will find one weak battery that does not stand up under the load. Make sure that the batteries are fully charged before they do the load test and if one or both of the batteries drop more than a volt and a half under load then they must be replaced Most batteries are under warranty for 6 months lets hope you made it under the wire. Now if Medicare paid for her chair then they will pay for a set of new batteries contact the provider where she got her chair for repair Hope this helps

To slow, i need it to go faster

Are your batteries fully charged? Are the batteries 2 years old or older? Even with a full charge older batteries will not generate amperage to make the chair go as fast as when new. Also the motors tend to slow down with age due to brushes wearing down. Now, if the batteries are new and the motors are not that old then you need to find a wheelchair provider that has a PP1 programmer and have then check the settings for forward speed etc. If the speed is not set to 100 then they can increase the forward speed to 100%. Hope this helps you

Chair has no power after a full charge, only allows user to go oneway before it has to be pushed Batteries are good anf fuse has been checked and changed can you help us

Many a times batteries shows you full charged but due to some reason few of the battery plates are not working, and it will only work till the charged plates get discharged.

Batteries plates turns weak or get damaged due to non use of batteries, or expiry.

Some of my phones will not stay charged even though I have let it on the unit. Do I need to replace the batteries?

If they charge, but then run down fast, it's a sign that the batteries are just too weak to take/hold a full charge and, yes, it's time for replacements.

A968 battery problem

This is a very commen with Chinese stuff. The looks are perfect, but the quality is exactly otherwise. Sorry to hear of your prob. See if you can find a standard battery of a good brand with the same specifications. Its better to buy a good and expensive battery than go in for three low quality ones. Give it a thought.

It is not shutting off. You need to bring it to an expert for service. Your problem sounds like it is electronic, not mechanical.

To stop it from discharging you can disconnect the batteries. The batteries should be hooked up in series 24vdc not parallel 12vdc.
