Your jack is probably loose, the only solution is to reconnect, or solder it.

How to disassemle garmin 4208

If you have the correct soldering equipment and have the replacement part, it shouldn't be too hard. You'll need a jewelers screw driver to get the small screws out. Use a guitar pick to pop open the case. Work it around the case until the back half separates. Clicking and popping sounds are normal. Take out the battery wires. Do NOT yank on the wires... gently grab the plug and wiggle it loose.Remove the screws holding the board to the case to expose the solder side and remove the broken power jack.

Your inner jack could be jacked jack LOL . No really sometimes the inner connection gets loose or the connection to the headphone jack port not making good contact might need replaced if you know that your head phones themself work fine!

Well my earphones .. one side is not working which is the right ide it used to work when wiggling the wire but now even when wiggling wire it does not work . ??

Broken wire on jack. To fix it, you'll need to cut it open and solder in a new jack. The wires are usually so fine that it'll be difficult to strip; you might want to invest in a new pair of headphones instead.

14 month old Ultimate Ears 700s and the jack has turned faulty. I can wiggle it around to get both phones to work, but, once I remove my hand from the jack, the right phone goes out. Is this fixable? ...

It is for sure that the wires have come out of the jack connection. This normally happens as the wires are always moved around as your plug and change.
The easy way out for you is to approach any electronics service center who can easily splice off the wires and put in a NEW jack which must be soldered.
This job can be done if you are able to handle a soldering iron and get to solder the jack with the connection on either terminals- just any tech will guide you to do this very easily.

Advent N270 netbook will not charge. Orange light comes on initially then goes off. Also when I wiggle the plug into the laptop the light flashes on and intermittently.

It sounds like either a bad connection on the motherboard or a broken wire in the adapter making intermittent connection.

1. With the power adapter disconnected, do you have a power light? This would indicate the adapter is good and the plug is questionable.

2. Check your power adapter output with a multi-meter.(be sure to wiggle the wires around) If the power fluctuates, replace the plug.

3. If the power is solid, replace the motherboard connector.

Screen blackout when using AC cord

I think you're goin to have to replace your" dc-jack" as it's called. This is where your AC cord plugs into your laptop.DC-jack problems are very common in laptops.Over time they wiggle loose just enough to mess up the solder connection on the motherboard.Try gently wiggling your AC cord where it plugs into your computer ,if you screen returns to normal when you wiggle the plug a certain way, then you've most likely got a bad dc-jack.

Nintendo 64 problems

First try to be absolutely sure that the TV input jack is not the problem. Try hooking up the N64 to a different TV, or you could try to wiggle (gently) the connector to the input jack.

I have two of these N64's that the kids play with, and had the exact same problem. The input jack is loose on our TV, and we had to tape the wires at a certain angle to keep the connection!

It's probably the socket - it may be that it's coming away from the board or the switch inside that cuts the speakers when you use headphones is faulty. It may be a simple resolder or you could replace the part.
