Question about Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500M Pass-Through Scanner

For no apparent reason - my scanner just stopped working - I get a message saying "Profile is disabled while the quick menu is in use". To my knowledge the quick menu is not in use. I called tech support yesterday at Fujitsu and the person had me uninstall the program and then re-install it - made no difference. He referred me to "level 2" but I did not hear back from them and I really need to get some work done. Can you help me? Thx - Kathy

Hello Kath,
Did you get this error after launching the ScanSnap Manager? Please double check if the Quick Menu is enabled by going into the Settings. It can also be disabled under the ScanSnap Manager icon on your taskbar. Right click on this icon and make sure that “Use Quick Menu” is unchecked. Try to re-run na ScanSnap Manager again and then kindly post the results.
We need to make sure that the Quick Menu is disabled.

Error message-the processcom.google.process.gapps has stopped


Just follow these easy steps:

1. Go to MENU
2. Go to SETTINGS
3. Go to APPS
4. Look for DOWNLOAD MANAGER under ALL
5. Disable it then enable it

Menu-> Settings-> Apps-> All-> Download Manager (Disable then enable)

That should do the trick.

If for some reason that doesnt work, try clearing your app cache, or deleting some recently downloaded apps.

Right Click on your SnapScan manager icon on the notification bar
Select 'Scan Button Settings'
when the menu comes up, take the Check mark out of "Use Quick Menu" and try again.

Can recieve but not send text messages it says sending failed lg neon worked fine then just stopped


okay this hapened to me what you do is go to you message menu go to message settings and go to text message then you have to go to message center number make sure the number matches the one given to you in your user manual

Olympus VN-3100PC Voice Recorder Problem


The ERR message can only be corrected by holding in the DISP/MENU and STOP buttons for two seconds, which results in all the material on the recorder being erased. Scanner locked


okay, im assuming the brother all in one in the picture is what you're on about...right?!? anywayz :) basically i think it is because you have got "faxes saved in the memory" it sounds weird but the scanner locked is coming up because the scanner is not going back to its home position. if there are faxes in its memory, it means that the memory has not been cleared. to check press menu/set 9,0,1 - if the screen says "No data" means that the memory has been cleared and i don't know what to do!! if it says "Enter fax.no" means that there are faxes in the memory, in this case, the fax must be cleared of memory, (if you need the faxes, you must save them before proceeding) turning it off clears memory apparently but im assuming you've tried that countless times.Turn off the machine's power switch and then on again. If the error message continues, leave the machine for several minutes and try it again. the MFC-7820 can store memory for up to 4 days, so watch out if you have a 7820. apparently this will resolve the issue and the message should go away, hence the scanner returning to its home position!! hope this helps

Uniden's quick key for system toggles the associated system (or systems, as more than one system can be assigned the same quick key) in and out of the scan.
The systems which have no quick key associated with them will remain in the scan unless you go into the menu and set each of those systems to be disabled from within the menu.
To your description above I would add that if you pressed the quick again, for the system you want, that system would be included back into the scan - each press will alternately exclude it and include it.
So - if you want to be able to exclude the other two systems from the scan by using quick key then set both of those to share a quick key, that key will then toggle those two systems out of the scan leaving enabled the system that you want to scan.

For example - three systems... air , fire , road. Say you wanted to be able to exclude air and road from the scan when you heard some fire action going on... set air system and road system to have same quick key (say '1') and fire system to have no quick key or a different quick key (say '0'). Now '1' will toggle air and road out of and into the scan on each successive press. So now when all three systems are getting scanned and you you want to shut out air and road, press '1' once... and they're excluded. press '1' again and they're included again (that's why i say quick keys 'toggle' the scan inclusion/exclusion).

If you see a message 'Nothing to Scan' ( or somesuch ) it means that you have excluded all systems from the scan - so just re-include one or more systems and the message will clear and you'll be back to scanning stuff.

I hope this makes sense the way i've described it.
I have a Uniden BCT15 myself. My suggestion is based on the way that the BCT15 works.. from memory and without the manual and rig to hand at this time.
