Question about Car Audio & Video
Well I don't think that's your wiring ... If it was u would get no sound period.. Seeing as the cd skips to the last I will suggest u first try the player directly to the battery.. If that fails then the problem is deffinatley the player itself.. Hope u got warranty if not take it to a repair shop.. I'd bet the control ic. Is shot.. If it works directly to the battery then connect both red and yellow power wires to the battery and use it.. The player aint getting enough power..

Look again at the back and see if it has something named CD out ..if does probably you need to make a connection between that out-put and the cd in ..or aux...or something like that ..or ...if it ha s something inserted try to remove ..probably it has an output to get the signal from cd only and it has a plug that mute it ..assuming that you got the signal out in a amplifying device ...If there isn't any of these and the unit is compact and has only one output stereo for all devices on it ..that it is a matter of settings ..or a loos contact at the signal from cd inside..
Assuming that it is a setting ..try to select the unit to be on cd from device selection and after that play the disk ..Just like in a payer with multifunction ....If it has a volume function or a equalizer...look careful to not be muted..
if any of these ain't working ..just look in the menu for settings reset ..and reset it to factory defaults and see if it does work after ..if not..it only can be a physical damage inside...probably the chip of the cd amplifier or a wire on the signal out ..from the cd board..
