I hard reset my nextbook flexx 10, 8.1 windows tablet, but it wont do anything but this. ( look at picture).

Hi Anonymous

I've seen that screen more than a few times in the past on Windows. it often comes from Windows updates not installing correctly and corrupting the update history. The advice I have from my own experience is fairly general. Try starting in Safe Mode. If you can get it booted there, run/re-run Windows Update, or look at the screen and history to see if there are one or more failed updates, and see if you can (re)run them successfully.

In any case, if you can get Windows to boot, safe mode or no, get your data backed up ASAP.

Unfortunately, not long after that, most IT departments I've ever dealt with just roll their eyes and do a clean OS install and restoration of data from a backup. If it's been backed up recently, the re-install and then sitting through a dozen re-starts as the Windows Updates install is a pain, but in the long run might be faster than trying to track this down.

Good Luck

Panasonic toughbook cf-74 blue error screen loop

Which OS do you have? Have you tried booting to safe mode?. Restart the computer. Immediately after the BIOS post ends, start tapping the F8 key repeatedly. when Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select safe mode and see whether it boots completely without blue screen(BSOD)

During restore windows i found error "Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows this computer, restart the installation.

Reboot windows without any CD in drive and tap F8 key before windows screen appears. Select safe mode from the menu that appears and elect to do a system restore.
If this doesn't work you could try changing the boot order in the bios ensuring that your hard drive is first boot device. should get into bios when starting PC usually F2 or del key. remember to save changes in bios normally F10

I'm unable to start my computer. Everytime I do, I get this blue screen saying a problem's detected and when I click the startup repair, I still get that blue screen again. Help

Startup repair is only meant for fixing software startup issues, mainly programs blocking a startup or registry/startup config errors.
The BSOD or Blue Screen Of Death error is generally aimed at hardware errors. Specifically, it could be your RAM, Hard drive, or any other main component in your computer. The most common is RAM, try replacing your memory sticks and see if it works. Hard drives can cause this error as well when they are on their last legs.
All in all, you may have to re-install windows completely.

If you can install Windows Vista and only XP not work for sure this is the solution :
SATA operation mode is AHCI
To change this :
Open BIOS
Look for SATA Operation Mode or somethin equivalent and change-it to IDE or Compatibility Mode.

Toshiba laptop - Tablet with Windows XP

Greetings,
If we had a clarity on the OS you are using it would have been easy. Do not try to change the mode. Shut down the comp and then try to restart, as it starts then tap the F8 key on the keyboard. We'll get the option for Safe mode. If still you do not get through.
Not being sure why you want to goto safe mode you can always use a plug an play external CD ROM. In case the issue is not resolved for safe mode you'll need to repair the Windows.
