Im not sure what modem you are talking about ..cause there isn't any involved..but to see the pictures from the camera you have to download them and for that you need the driver from the cd that came with the cam...and a data cable to connect t to the pc ...Install the driver and after that connect the camera ...it will prompt you on the camera to choose pc connection ..or make it auto ...After that the folder with the camera name will be seen in my co,puter folder or a folder with name storage device will actually be there and it is the card from the camera ..Inside the pictures will be available fro copy ..paste or cut ..
Or ..if they are not shown there ..use a manager like tha one that came on disk to import from device ..or ..if it pops up an auto-play at start when you plug it in the computer ..choose import pictures..or open folder to view pictures...and in there you can actually copy them ..

How to display pictures on pc

Install the software that came with your camera on your PC.
Connect the USB cable to your camera and plug that into a USA connector on your PC. Use the software to transfer the pictures to your PC or view them. If you have a Windows PC and the camera shows up under My Computer, you can also access the pictures by looking at it as a storage device and opening the picture files.

I'm having trouble downloading photos to my computer with the software that came with my camera. What can I do? Someone deleted my digimax master off of my computer, and i can't upload pictures now for...

No need for you to install any CD software because your camera
will be recognized automatically as a removable disk when your computer has the following Operating Systems.

For transferring pictures with OS (Windows 98/XP/Vista/2000/MAC 9.2-10.3 ):
- Turn off camera
- Plug USB cable to camera and PC
- Turn on camera
- Connect to computer or printer will come out on camera screen
- Select the desired one
- Press MENU/OK
- "New Hardware Found" will be seen on the right lower corner
- A window will pop out with various options
- Example: "Open to View Files", "Copt to a folder"...

* If nothing like those mentioned above happened,

Double check through Computer Devices with Removable storage:
- Look for DCIM folder in any of the Removable storage
- Select 100sscam folder inside DCIM folder
- Upon opening, all pictures will be viewed

Just try to make sure that you'll be using the USB cable supplied
in the package and your PC does have good working USB ports.

Fujifilm finepix a 201

Ok your computer should have the software needed to view the pictures already installed, so maybe you are having trouble actually getting them out of the camera and into the computer?

You may need to download the file for your operating system from here.
http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/download/01/index.html#windows

After installing that you should just be able to plug the camera into the computer and let it copy the photos for you. On the PC the software is called "Scanner and Camera Wizard" (on windows XP) which can be found under All Programs, then Accessories, and on Mac I photo will do tthis for you.

Good luck

Trouble transferring pictures from camera to computer

First, Try and install the HP software again. Uninstall the software first and reboot the pc. Then reinstall software. The memory chip maybe have currupt pictures, so format the chip using the camera. You manual should tell you how to do this. Second, Turn the camera on and let the battery run all the way down. This may take some time, maybe a day. Then charge it back up for a day. I hope this helps you out. Let me know.
