The obvious next step is to remove the head and turn the water back on. If you get a good flow then the problem is in the head so sheck for particulate in the area where the threads are. With all the flow restrictions already built in it wouldn't take much to shut down the head.

Hot water pressure is weak. Shower head isn't clogged. Cold water pressure is good. How do I increase the hot water pressure?

Is the hot water pressure good at other fixtures in the house? I'm guessing your newer valves have a scolding adjustment that is set very low. Check the instructions that came with the valve assembly.

How do install delta shower

If you are looking to replace only the shower head, you'll need two plumber's wrenches, a cloth, and Teflon tape.

First and foremost, read the install instructions that come with the new shower head...

After you clearly understand what the instruction's say, shut of the water supply lines for the hot & cold water.

Take one of the wrenches and apply it to the neck of the water supply tube coming out of the shower wall (a.k.a. goose neck or supply nipple, or arm, depending upon the design). It'll have male threads (the threads are on the outside of the fitting). I would place a cloth of some sort around it before placing the wrench on it so you don't mar the finish of the water supply tube.

Place the second wrench on the shower head assembly (which has the internal, female threads). and unscrew it by turning the shower head assembly counter-clock-wise (to the left) while holding the water supply nipple with the other wrench.

You need to do this, so you don't snap or deform the water supply nipple coming out of the shower wall- and/or possibly causing leaky damage to the fittings behind the shower wall.

To replace the shower head, you reverse the removal process- the only difference is, you wrap Teflon tape around the male threads of the water supply nipple before spinning on the new shower head.

Somethings to be careful of, and I can't stress this enough, DO NOT cross thread the new shower head onto the water supply nipple. You should be able to screw it on the new shower head by hand- where it is hand tightened- then using the double-wrench method that you used to take off the shower head, turn the new shower head an additional half to three quarter turns with the wrench, clock-wise; and I mean gently.

Here's a nice short video on the subject, illustrating my instructions: http://youtu.be/fiv4Zq9v4co

No shower pressure in rv

Make sure you have enough water in the tank or city water hooked up. A pump will run and suck air if the level is low. it could force water to the sink, etc, but not the shower.

Are your valves for the water pump set correctly? Remote possibility someone installed a shut-off valve between the pump and shower.

Could be the pump is getting weak/leaking internally and can't build enough pressure.

Make sure the shower head is not clogged. Remove it from the hose and try again.

No hot water comes out of shower just cold comes out even when turned to hot, sink 2 feet away has hot water

The problem more tha likely lies within the shower valve body. Possibly the shower head has an accumulation of deposits clogging up the holes but that would not affect the hot water supply only. You might try removing the shower head and turning on the hot water. If you get hot, immerse the head in Limeaway for a hour or two and replace it, or install a new head. If you still do not get hot water, the shower valve needs attention. The cartridge inside the valve body will likely need replacing or at the least cleaning (Limeaway), replacing rubber seals and use plenty of silicone grease before re-assembly.

Shower water pressure is dismal at best, girls cannot get soap out of hair, is there a way to adjust amount of water coming out of shower head, we have a delta monitor single valve assembly.

Yes, try changing the shower head and do not get one of those water saver heads...and even if you get a regular one take out the flow restrictor before installing it if it has one....it will be just inside the thread part and wil be a plastic or rubber piece with a small hole in it to slow down the water flow...

Price Pfister Shower--No water to shower

Does the tub spout water flow stop when the shower knob is pulled?

Was the systems pipping flushed before the shower head was installed?

It may be clogged, remove the shower head and then attempt to operate. If it is clogged you will see debris trapped in the screen at its connection point. The shower head can be disassembled - cleaned - reassembled

Is the shower head an adjustable type, that may be in the off position?

Good luck

Just installed shower and faucet in bath tub when you turn the water on the water comes out of the faucet and shower head. When you pull the lever for just the shower the water cuts off at faucet and comes...

Verify the height from the shower valve to the Shower head, the instructions specify the correct distance if it is too short the pressure could be getting up to the shower head.

Perhaps the water pressure it too high at the valve not allowing all the water down the faucet outlet, there are set screws on the sides of the shower valve to adjust the water allowed in the mixing chamber.

Something is restricting the water flow to the faucet, creating enough pressure to send some of the ater supply up to the shower.

I hope some of these ideas help

Shower head leaks water when water is turned on

take out the cartridge from the fixture and make sure it has all of the "O" rings and stoppers.
look at the instruction again, make sue you are installing it the right side up. if all that, the shower still leak, then you need to talk to the place you brought the fixture, it may have a defective cartridge.
