Question about Pioneer DEH-P470MP Premier In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA/WAV Receiver
We can't get our cd player to play with our ipod. We have it hooked up but the only function we can display is tuner and Aux.
After researching your model DEH-P470MP, it appears that to use an iPod, you need an adapter that plugs into the rear port of the unit intended for a multi-cd changer connection.
If you have one installed and it's not working, I would check the connection on the unit. Make sure the cable is firmly seated in the port and then check the cable and also check for any fuse in the line to make sure it's not blown out.
Also some of the earlier models of ipod adapters aren't compatible with the newer generations of ipods. There are aftermarket adapter plugs that will allow your ipod to charge/play off these earlier decks/adapters.
