I have a Toro model number 20622 auto start go forward and backward the blade won't turn it's like it's got a break on it how do I get this to work when I pulled the lever nothing happens

Anon, a lot of these Toro decks do have a type of brake on one of the idler arm and pulley to stop blade. You will have to get a repair/service manual if your owners manual does not show it. Normally can be seen in deck belt installation diagram. If blade brake checks out OK, it is possible one or both blade spindles bearings are seizing.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

How do i adjust the clutch on a 12/32 toro ride on lawn mower model 56175

You need to adjust the belt keeper until it almost touches the belt. The pulley is not good enough for its purpose. The lips are to short for its positioning and purpose. But if u get the keeper right next to it it will eliminate the space needed for the belt to drop down. I fixes more than 100 like this.

I have a 1988 Model 26624, 21" Key-Lectric mower. I've noticed over a period of time that the mower blade slows considerably when cutting the lawn. At first, I thought it may be grass accumulation under...

Yes, it sounds like you need to adjust the blade brake clutch (BBC). I have a PDF service manual that explains it. If you post your email address I can upload it to you. Here's an excerpt from the manual:

BBC
BBC Adjusting the Blade Brake
1. Stop the engine. Pull the wire off the spark plug.
2. Remove the two screws securing the screen
panel to the top of the mower housing as shown
in Figure 22. Remove the panel. (The panel they're
referring to is the red screen between the motor
and handle.)
3. Move the control bar down and lift up against the
handle. With the control bar against the handle,
measure the spring length (L) at the front of the
spring as shown in Figure 26.
4. If the spring dimension is greater than 32 mm
(1-1/4") an adjustment is needed.
5. To adjust, loosen the bottom jam nut on the blade
brake cable as shown in Figure 27. Adjust the top
jam nut until spring dimension is as near as
possible to nut; not less than 25 mm (1") See
note below.
NOTE: Adjusting the top jam nut too high can
cause the cable end to crush the plastic fitting
when the control bar is moved up against the
handle. If the spring cannot be adjusted to less
than 32 mm (1-1/4") before the cable end
contacts the plastic fitting, the clutch belt is worn
out and should be replaced. After replacing the
belt, adjust the cable per the above procedure.
NOTE: 1990 and newer models are equipped
with finger tip adjusters that do not require tools.
Use the same adjustment criteria on these
cables.

We have Toro Lwa 100 Lawn Mower Model #26623. Power engaged, start mowing but lawn mower will not cut grass. You have to stop and let it rev up again to cut more grass.

This 1991-92 model is equipped with a blade brake clutch. When the blade slows down this means the belt is slipping. This slipping can be caused from a few different things.
1 --A loose cable. barterjoe_0.gif
Try adjusting the blade cable on the upper handle. this unit has an adjustable section. make sure the cable is not so tight that you snap it.
2 --A sticky pivot point under the belt cover
The belt cover in the back builds up with dirt and debris. Make sude it is clean under the cover and all of the pivots move freely. ( do this with the engine off)
3 --A sticky belt tensioner under the deck cover
The underside of this machine has a metal cover to protect the belts. Remove it and check that the blade belt idler arm is not frozen in place. this will cause the belt not to enguage all the way.
4 --A worn belt or belt pulley
The large flywheel and pulley can wear. Check this if the belt looks good.
This is all there is to the machine BBC system.
I hope this helps.

Blade won't engage - mower starts and propells itself, but when the yellow arm is pulled and lowered to engage the blade, nothing happens.

The blade is probably belt driven, and the belt is either broken, need adjusting, worn that bad, or there is a pulley problem. Get it in the air and check that the belt tightens. It will not be completely tight, there should be a tiny bit of play when engaged.

How do I change drive belt on my toro 22187

This appears to be a BBC Blade Brake Clutch. This is kinda hard to describe. Its best you take it to a dealer.
There are two belts both are drive. Blade drive and ground drive. The are accessed from the bottom of the machine.U must remove the blade ,then the belt covers. From that point its pretty much self-explanitory. Toro provides an online manual for this.
