Go to your control panel from the start menu.

Select Sounds Icon. Here you will find a list of "installed" and built-in speakers. You need to select your newly installed speakers, and calibrate them (or test) them.

It is all right there in the Sounds Control Panel.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

There are 2 volume controls on the audio output in windows 7. one is the system volume the other is the device volume. make sure that they are both at full and then control the sound volume on your speakers.

No sound coming from speakers and drivers not working anymore...

Make sure you use the power adapter with the speakers. Most audio cards today won't drive the speakers on their own. Either

  1. remove the audio from the Device Manager then search for changes, or
  2. Look at the Properties of the audio device and revert to a previous driver.

No CD and cannot find driver for Logitech R-10 speakers-HELP

The R10 speakers are analog speaker drivers are not needed, you may need drivers for your sound card-- quick test plug a headset into the green port on the back of your computer. if there is sound coming thru then the sound card is fine and you need to make sure your connection are correct. if no sound, plug the headset into the front ports for headphones. if sound is coming thru there but not in back the sound card needs replacement the port is bad.
Download the drivers from this link

Setup

Good Morning:

Hope that you are wellJ

Connecting the speakers correctly seems to be the biggest issue.

Try this diagram: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2913&p_created=1125714076&p_sid=gel419fj&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9OCw4JnBfcHJvZHM9ODQ0LDE3LDY0MCZwX2NhdHM9JnBfcHY9My42NDAmcF9jdj0mcF9wYWdlPTEmcF9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1OTyBTT1VORA**&p_li=&p_topview=1

Be sure that you are not set to stereo

You must have at least a 6 channel card.

Also:

After verifying that the connections are made correctly, the sound card needs to be checked to make sure it is setup correctly. There are many sound card manufacturers so we cannot possibly cover every make and model. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of the sound card to make sure the sound card is setup correctly for use with analog 5.1 speaker systems.

When a software DVD player is being used to watch a DVD, the audio output needs to be set to surround sound mode. Please refer to the user manual for the software DVD player to check the settings.
Many DVDs have more than 1 sound format available. Just as the sound card and the software DVD player, the DVD itself has to be set to the correct sound format.

Finally you can test to see if the speakers are working correctly by plugging the front channel cable coming from the sound card to the rear channel connector on the subwoofer. If sound comes out of the rear speakers, then there is no problem with the speakers. The problem could be with the software DVD player, or the audio setting on the DVD.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

And, remember; always include the type of Operating System and the type of computer you own, when you submit your questions. It simply makes for much faster solutions.

Have a wonderful morning.

Logitech Speaker Help

Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't sell the wired remote controller separately. And that seems to be infamous for going out.
What worked for me (with no sound and no blue light on the remote connector) was to plug a set of earphones into the earphone port. As soon as I did that, the blue light came on and the sound was restored, even after removing the earphones. Someone else said both speakers worked properly while they had the earphones in, but not otherwise.
