Your house may have Thunder rod installed on the roof. Your power network should be grounded, but it may be connected to thunder rod earthing, which is wrong. The earthing is not good. Check it.

I have 32" skyworth flat tv, strong thunder and lightning collapsed my tv. how can i fix this matter?

Fault to the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

For all mains powered electronic gadgets

Make sure that the mains plug is intact and has a tight connection. this can surely help to eliminate intermitent connection which could result in many a failure of SMPS power sections which are found in all these appliances.
Disconnect mains power during a severe lightning as poor earthing could lead to damages by surges even if the appliance is switched off.

When you are away on long holidays kindly remove all such connections.,

Ps4 not working with receiver

It sound like it could be the volume control dial.

Isolate your power supply from the mains switchboard.
Switch off and Unplug your appliance from the wall socket before attempting any repairs.

Try in behind the dial with electronic cleaner b3203b06-4ced-4fda-befd-44f385f97b7e.jpg this stuff is great for lots of different electrical cleaning problems.
I hope this helps a bit

Lightning cause shutdown

mostly if a lightning stroke directly into your antenna, you need to junk it for good, but if the lightning is very far and only the thunder sound you heared, you`d better check the fuse first.mostly fuses got busted to protect your unit from damage.test the lead accross the capacitor of main filtered dc supply stages.check it to the range of times 1 shoulld not deflect fulll and reverse the probe of tester, and this will not deflect high but a little movement only and both will drop to infinite.if this goes full to the max, means shorted, short the leads first b4 you attempt to test this high voltage capacitor.short it with your insulated handles of any remove the stored voltage, but there is no spark when it was happened long time ago.detach the high voltage capacitor and test if short,if okay the prospect is either the 4 rectifier diodes or the power regulator transistor or i.c.

Lightning storm

More than likely the module/chip got fried by a voltage/lightning spike.
It's cheaper to replace small appliances than to repair them.
Suggest buy a new one.

Hi Binuya, and the usual suspects are:
1. Loose, corroded, or broken battery cable ends inside the cable harness especially the "NEGATIVE" cable at both ends.
2. A severely drained battery.
3. Faulty main circuit breaker and or connections.
4. Faulty ignition coil and or connections.
5. Faulty spark plug, oil or gas fouled, wrong heat range or service type, wrong gap, loose in the cylinder head, broken electrode or insulator.
6. Faulty spark plug cables, leaking or broken, internal damage.
7. Faulty ignition module, switch, CKP, MAP, CMP, sensor and or any connector in the ignition circuit could have corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets
8. Burnt exhaust valve or air leak in the exhaust system.

Stay connected to electric line, can cause a lightning stroke to effect, even though the set is switched off.

Have a GE Select washing machine that won't start or operate ? Can you help ?

Hello there and than you for choosing fixya
Washing machine is dead, wont start Obviously the first thing to check is that the socket is supplying power by plugging another appliance in such as a lamp. It is less likely to be the socket but you'd be daft not to check it out before calling an engineer as it does occasionally turn out to be a faulty wall socket. This is only necessary though if there are no led indicator lights lit up on your washer as any light that's on shows that the machine is getting a live and neutral supply from the socket.
The second thing to check is the fuse in the plug. Either put the fuse into something else and check the appliance still works or try another fuse that you know to be OK in the washer. Make sure you use a 13 amp fuse and never by-pass a fuse! If both of those are OK, then the most common cause for a washing machine that wont start is the door interlock, particularly if the mains lights on the washing machine has come on, but nothing works. However, the fault could also be in wiring to the door interlock or even the door catch not activating it properly, or the on off switch or the main control module. With some Indesit and Hotpoint washing machines even an open circuit heater or motor can cause the entire washing machine to stop working except the led lights.
You need to know what you are doing to trace this type of fault so if it isn't the wall socket or the plug you'd be better getting an engineer to trace it. Do not work on a live washing machine. Engineers should use a continuity test meter to trace faults with the washing machine unplugged and never test with a live washing machine.

Have you checked the fuse[s]? You don't mention your location so I cannot comment of what protection devices that may be involved. UK has fused 13amp wall plugs for example.
