Wont start Error read DL F what does it mean and how to repair?

The error code "dl" is for door lock. From what I've read, it may mean you need to replace the latch assembly.

FDL is a door lock error and is caused due to an issue with the door lock when it is unable to lock/unlock. Please check the door lock mechanism/door switch assembly and replace the part that has gone bad so that the issue is resolved. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Hello, F DL means
A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try to lock it six times before displaying the error code.

Potential Causes
• Door Lock Mechanism broken or removed from the Door
• Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly
• Check the wire harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and
Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

Ohm out the door lock solenoid and the door lock switches. This is most conveniently done at the central control board--use the wiring diagram/tech sheet to locate the proper pins to test from. Unplug the washer before starting work.

sounds like you may have a bug. In most cases an anti virus should fix the prob. However, some will not. in this case you can reload windows and it will fix the prob. Do a full install, not a repair. (formatting the hard drive)

If you already replaced the latch, and still get fdl, then the problem is wiring harness to timer board or timer board connections, check them out.

F DL is a door lock failure. The door is not locking so the machine will not start.

DL means door lock error. This happens when the door trys to lock 6 times but cant lock.
There a 2 things that create this problem. the door lock mechanism or the CCU ( central control unit )
Replace the door lock mech. first. if this does not fix the problem replace the ccu.

the dl code is a door lock error,open door and examine door lock assy mounted on front panel.look for a plastic push pin approx 5inches up from square lock assy.if that pin is missing,replace door lock.if pin is there,you could still have bad door lock or loose wire connected to door lock.

DISC ERROR HAS OCCURED, THEN SAYS REPAIR DISC NOW? PRESSED YES. SAYS UNABLE TO REPAIR
