This indicates the flame roll out safety switch is bad. This part is usually mounted right above the burner tray. It is a white ceramic piece with two wiring terminals and an external part that looks like a resistor. This part detects flame/heat coming out from the burner tray. When replacing it, be sure to check for blockage at the burner tray, heat exchanger and the flue if vented with duct work. This is a critical safety device so do not bypass it.

ROL services code

Press the "mode" button until "off" is displayed. Remove the screws on the control panel and tilt the panel out exposing the back of it. On the back of the board is a small square component with a button in the middle of it. Press and hold this button until SETdef is displayed on the lcd screen (about 5-7 seconds). Now push the MODE button on the front until RESfl is displayed. Now, at the same time, press the UP and DOWN buttons until two dashes -- appear on the screen (about 5-7 seconds). Now the fault history has been cleared.

ROL is an error for the Roll Out Safety Switch. This is usually caused by flames coming out from the burners to the front of the unit. NOT GOOD! Make sure you have remedied the problem and replaced the switch. Never bypass a safety switch. I am sure you knew this last section, just wanted to put in a reminder.

Raypak 2100 digital heater give fault code eol

ILO or ROL. There is no EOL.

ROL is a switch inside the lower left corner of the heater. Press the red button. ILO is a lockout. Power down and power up.
