The Setup option is for your BIOS , heres a link to resetting the BIOS password if you want to access it.

but as for the error loading operating system you will need any setup disks or recovery CD's that you got with your computer, preferably a Windows Installation CD , then you will have to insert the CD restart and let the computer boot from the CD and reinstall your operating system.

Error message "load needed dlls for kernel"

1. Insert the Microsoft Windows XP CD. Note: If you have a recovery CD or a restore CD and not a Microsoft Windows XP CD it is likely the below steps will not resolve your issue. 2. Reboot the computer, as the computer is starting you should see a message to press any key to boot from the CD. When you see this message press any key. 3. In the Microsoft Windows XP setup menu press the R key to enter the recovery console. 4. Select the operating system you wish to fix, and then enter the administrator password. 5. Type expand d:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ c:\windows\system32 6. You will then be prompted if you wish to overwrite the file type Y and press enter to overwrite the file. 7. Type exit to reboot the computer.

No boot device available.. what does it mean.. plzzzz tell me what i have to do now.

It means that there is no harddisk with a working operating system available in your system.
That might mean that either the harddisk is broken or your operating system is broken.
To find out do this:
Start up the computer. Before the error message appears, there is a message on screen, like: "Press del to enter setup, F8 to enterboot menu."
Press del, or whatever key the message says. You will noew have opened the motherboards BIOS. There should be some menus in it. Open some of them until you reach a screen that has info about CD or DVD drives. Your harddisk should also be listed there.
If it is, exit the BIOS and reinstall your operating system. If you have questions about that, please post them here.
If it isn't, however, the harddisk is broken. If you still have a warranty you can demand a replacement frm your manufacturer. If you don't, you'll need to purchase a new one. Every computershop has harddisks, so only the money could be a problem.

I hope this helps,
Yannick

I can use the recovery cd

Hello
First you need to make the computer to boot from the CD ,when the computer starts first time look for something that says to change boot order press F8 or similar.
If it's not there then look for another message that says to enter Setup press Del (or F2 etc) ,then scroll to Boot sequence or settings and change CD drive to first device then save settings and exit.

My computer wont start up

First try pressing F2 at start up to see if you can get to setup. Also pressing F12 may get you a boot menu. If cd is already set as first boot you may get a chance to boot from a Windows cd. The idea here is to get to a minimal Windows configuration like setup or safe mode (F8) to see if this is a hardware or operating system fault. Two common issues with eMachines are power supply problems where repetitive reboots can actually fry the motherboard or if the PC has a few years use the CMOS battery. Steve Medley

Error loading operating system

Firstly have you set your jumpers on your hard drive setting before placing into computer. If not check if the cd rom is on the same cable, if on same cable then change the jumper.

Have you gone into bios and loaded the hard drive. If a new hard drive you will need to detect it in bios first. Then Save and exit.
To go into bios, press f1 or f2 or DEL when you first start computer. Each computer is differentand you'll have to see which you require to press.

After bios is setup, put in your copy of windows xp, or your boot disks and follow instructions to set partition and format drive, then install operating system.

If you are only installing a new secondary drive as a backup, you will still need to detect in bios first. Then load you windows and go to my computer and format the drive using windows.
