    Hi,
I have exactly the same problem.. unable to open the tray door... all I seem to get is " tray Locked " coming up.. have tried to reset it many times, but still no joy..
Any ideas other than throwing it the window would be a huge help.. :o)

    Hi,
I have the exact same problem as many others here.
Every time i try to open the tray door I get " tray locked" coming up.
I have tried to reset it many times, but still no joy..
Any other ideas would be hugely welcomed other than throwing it out the window!
    Many thanks

You can try reseting the unit.
Reset the set to the default factory settings:
All the information stored
(programmes, time and date) will be lost.
1.
Disconnect the set from power supply.
2. Press and hold down "STANDBY•ON" on the set and reconnect the set.
3. As soon as "IS TV ON?" is displayed, release "STANDBY•ON."

Hopefully reseting it will clear whatever problem it is having and allow you to once again use your DVD player.
Hope this helps. Good Luck.
