I lost my phone, got the sim card blocked, and got a replacement sim card, rang up customer care they said it shud work but it still wont work 2hrs later

Sir all you have to do is to contact customer care of AT&T and tell them your problem they will ask for your number your Identity and after confirmation they will block your sim. You can also get your sim back by visiting AT&T Franchise they will block your previous sim and ill give you the same number again.

If your personal unlock code is blocked you have to call customer care. Have the IMEI, serial number, and SIM id ready along with your account information.

its a sim card problem try to get help with a customer care of ur respected sim card company
call them from other sim of same company say abt the problem
bt make sure b4 calling u shud knew all the details of ur sim card (blocked sim card)..

My dear friend, am so sorry about your loss of phone. The phone cannot be blocked by just anybody. You will require the assistance of the phone providers service customer care. They will require the IMEI number of the phone to do the job.

Once you provide the IMEI number of your phone, then they will be able to block the phone for you. Blocking of phones cannot be done by just anybody. Like blocking a lost Sim card is done by the Sim card providers customer care center, so also is blocking the phone done by the phones service center or customer care center.

plz ring ur customer support and ask them TO BLOCK YOUR SIM CARD,SINCE YOU LOST THE MOBILE..they will ask you to repeat the address that you have given as i.d proof,to check that is this your sim card or not...

If it's blocked, you have less hope getting it back, but you can still try calling the customer care of your network operator (sim card provider), they will help you an will let you know what to do. Perhaps you'll need to get a new replacement, once a sim card is blocked, usually service providers don't reactivate it rather issue another sim card with the same number.

Call the customer care and get their help. They'll ask you few questions related to your sim card, it's rightful owner's name, sim card's name (written on the sim card), etc..etc..

Call your service provider customer care toolfree hotline . If they say this line " Not on prepaid but can check on postpaid." your somewhere in SEAsia.
