Question about Cycling

Hi I have had a problem with the rock shox suspension on my cove moutnain bike. I'm not too sure what rock shox they are but here is the info thats written on them. rock shox usa 80mm-125mm travel, u turn. climb it control lock out. eastern taperwall upper tubes. As I was un tightening the climb it control lock out, I some how un done it all the way causing the the top screw cap to come completely come off. this followed about 30mml of oil that was spilt all over the floor. I've screwed the top cap back on but now I'm worried the oil must need toping back up. If so what oil do I need and what is the a top up level? is it just a matter of topping it up back to the top. So, does it need toping up. if so what oil and how much oil(to what level) and where can I get it from? Your help would very much appreciated. thank you.

Front wheel

If you haven't got it done already, maybe this is the solution.
Newer bicycles have a device to prevent the front wheel coming off so you will not wreck the bike if the bolts get loose. This is a washer type thing that has an ear on it. The ear fits into a hole in the fork. You can take the bolts completely off the shaft and the wheel will stay attached to the fork by those ears on those washers that are in the tiny holes in the fork.
Be blessed.

How do i adjust the rear shock (rock shox bar)

This is a very basic Air Shock, the only way to "tune" more than adjust is by changing the air pressure, either by releasing some or adding some. To add you need a shock pump. you can get these at most bike shops that sell mountain bikes.

What's a "hardtail"? What's "full suspension"?

A "hardtail" is a mountain bike that has a front suspension fork (like the one on the right) and no shock absorber in the back. Good hardtails are light, fast and responsive, and because of this they are good for climbing.
Even the cheapest mountain bikes these days tend to have suspension forks. That's not necessarily a good thing, since most of the forks on cheap bikes are of poor quality and will probably need replacing before too long. The cheapest forks also tend to be sold only on new bikes, and not separately. Find out the make and model of the fork, and search around on the web for it. The price will give you an indication of the fork quality.
Most decent bikes are sold with Rock Shox, Manitou, or Marzocchi. Marzocchi has been making forks longer than anyone and has probably the best reputation, but they tend to be expensive so you won't find them on anything but expensive bikes. Rock Shox and Manitou make lower-end (but reasonably good) forks. Other reputable brands such as Fox and Suntour make forks that may very well provide a good service life, but are not as well known for mountain bike forks. Replacement forks can be found at very low prices during sales and clearance events, so they can be upgraded later (sometimes at a bargain price). A "full suspension" bike has the front suspension fork and a rear suspension (like the bike on the right). These are highly recommended if you ride in a lot of rocks, as the rear suspension allows you to glide over rough terrain. They're also good for big jumps. The rear shock adds some complexity to the bike, and a good bit more weight at any give price point, plus there'll be a bit more maintenance. Plus, you'll pay a few hundred dollars more than a hardtail for a bike of otherwise equal components. Depending on your terrain, it might be worth it; riding a hardtail in big rocks can be brutal.

Suspension adjustment for a 2007 Shogun Hydra

Have a look at this site:http://www.bikeforums.net/archive/index.php/t-15120.html and this site might help http://www.bikewebsite.com/suspension.htm You will have to either search for the manufacturers site and look for the adjustment info there( you should be able to download the manual for the forks ) or mention the specifics here so we can find them. According to my info your bike should have a Suntour SF-M3010db fork on it.
