I can't heard sound when playing music

    I have Toshiba A100 Satellite PSAAKL i intalled winXP but now i cant hear any sound although it shows my sound driver is installed properly..plz help

are you adjusting sound through the windows controller or the application you're playing music through? there are a few things that could affect that, there's also the actual sound setup where you can change your setup i.e. surround sound, single speaker, headphones etc

Toshiba PSAAKL 00d008 sound driver problems with XP


The driver should still be somewhere on your system or the windows drivers should work. Try to uninstall the device from the device manager and then power down the laptop. power it up, make sure you are online and let the "found new hardware" load up and look for the proper drivers. In most cases Windows can find an updated driver and install without incident.

Driver for Toshiba Satellite A100 PSAAKL-00N002


**** my friend, I've gone to Toshiba Site for Australia and New Zealand and found many with PSAA but none with KL thouggh close (I think), so I Googled it and a toshiba forum mentions that it is most likely an Asian Version and not European or another....so i checked out toshiba-asai.com website and there it has less i.e just A100 no PSAAKL etc.

I suspect most drivers from around the world for the A100 would be almost identical if not exact with some exceptions.

Any idea where the Laptop was bought? Where it was bought normally helps in deciding which Toshiba site to go to. Also I suspect the KL stands for Kuala Lumpur but I'm probably wrong.

Have you installed KB888111 and then installed audio driver. If not then uninstall driver, install KB888111 and then re-install
