Kodak c1450 camera won't upload photos to my computer

Hello, Kodak has no control over your cameras' ability to upload your photos to your PC ! Unless you are talking about their online photo storage. If you are having problems transferring your pics to your PC and are using Kodak software try to reinstall the program and see if that works, I don't think your camera is junk.

Having difficulty connecting the jvc gr-d370 to my computer using Windows Media. What must I do to retrieve the video from the camcorder using the USB cable?

I had this same issue. I solved it. The USB cable will NOT work to transfer video. You need a IEEE-1395 fire wire cable. I purchased the internal card and cable for under $20.00 for my DELL computer direct from dell. After you connect your camcorder to your computer, I clicked on windows photo gallery. Then in top left corner, click file and "import from camera or scanner. Your camcorder must be on video mode and play mode. Your computer should recognize the camcorder, click on it and then it will give you options, like you can upload and record direct onto DVD. I liked the option of uploading manually because if there are blank sections on the DV tape, the computer will stop uloading. Hope this helps.

How do i download a video into my computer from the Sony Handycam DCR-HC21 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

There are two way to upload your picture's or video's to your pc:

  1. You can upload video to the use of your camcorder connector. Connect your USB cable to your camcorder and plug it to your computer. You need to turn on your camcorder so that it will be recognized by the computer.
  2. You can upload also your video's with the use of memory card reader. Remove your memory card from your camcorder and insert it to the card reader. Plug the card reader to the computer. The computer will recognized the card. Now you can upload your photo's or video's.

Im trying to import videos from my mini dv tape on my digital Video camera JVC GR-290u i plugged in a usb cord from my camera to the computer but nothing came up. when i switch from video mode to memory...

As it's a DV (Digital Video) camera you should use the IEEE 1394 Firewire socket if it has one. Then use a DV capture program.
If you dont have a Firewire port on your PC you can buy a card like this one which will connect you Camera to your PC.

Help

The memory card is strictly for still photos. The tape is strictly for video. Transferring video tot he PC requires a firewire card on your PC (for direct cable connection).
