How do I stop all the lights from linking on model 7422 singer sewing machine

I'm assuming that your machine doesn't work--it just blinks the lights. It indicates that something is stopping the machine from setting itself up to sew. Most likely, it will need to be serviced, but you CAN at least rule out user error. Download the user's manual, and starting from scratch, make sure you have properly threaded and set up your machine. They also may have additional suggestions regarding the machine's behavior. There is often a troubleshooting part at the back of the manual. You can download it free at the Singer site.

Singer 7462 will not pick up bobbin thread

You need to adjust the needle timing - called "timing the needle".
How do to that is usually included in the service or repair manual for your model of machine. There are various online shops where you can order this.

Also, the machine is pretty similar to the Single 7422, and there's an ehow article on how to adjust the timing on that model that you might find useful.

Singer advance 7422 beeps when i am trying to sew

are you getting a visual signal on your LED display ?
have you tried turning the machine off & waiting a few seconds & turning it back on again
have you tried cleaning the bobbin area for loose threads & lint?
how many beeps are there?
do you have a instruction manual for the machine? if not singer has one for free pdf download

Go to the singer website
Go to the home page
Go to customer service--click on it--it will show a small menu--click on instruction manual
In the box put the model number (example 7422 ) & click search

I am trying to rethread a bobbin for my new Singer Advance machine. I have misplaced my manual. Can you help by providing instructions?

If, you go to www.ifixmachines.com you can download your manual for $12.88 and receive a bonus parts list. That is the least expensive I have seen. Good luck

One step button Hole V for Singer Sewing Machine

Hi, I had the same problem, but I finally found my manual. The solution is that you have to use the presser foot for buttonholes but the most important part is that you have to lower the buttonholer lever. It is located right next to the needle to the left. It is a metal lever with a little square white plastic end. You need to pull that down in order the the buttonhole feature to work. My button was too big for the buttonhole presser foot, so I had to use the regular presser foot, but hit the buttonhole lever with my had to make it go up or down.
