Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook
Last night I dropped a tv on my laptop. It was knocked over and the laptop was on the floor. The laptop was closed and a small crack at the very bottom of the back of the screen was made. The inside there is no damage. But if I turn my laptop on it does turn on but the screen shows for about a second then turns off again. The computer is still running. What do I do?
you need to open the laptop and check the screen, it is possible that the flex or screen inverter that connects the screen to the laptop motherboard has shifted or has loosed contact or is not firm to its right position.
All you need to do is to open the laptop, if the flex is removed, fix it back to its right position and that's all.
Also, do a general troubleshooting on the screen and the problem should be solved.
