The "fuse" that you have mentioned, is the Electrical Panel suppling voltage to your appliances, Chances are very Good That the Circuit Board has been Damaged, make sure your supply voltage is Correct,at the Dryer, and try the Dryer again.

Where can I get Circuit board wiring for SRM- 700?

Both the Capacitor and fuse will have there rating right on them.

If you don't know that you might want to take it to a professional for repair, as soldering them in can be very tricky.

I have a Carrier Heat Pump model FK4CNF003. I noted that the thermostat wasn't working (no power) so I checked the usual bound power etc. before I pulled the top housing off the interior...

The source may be the circuit board itself, since the fuse is only 5 amps I would strongly suspect this part, look for any heat damaged area, this is the usual suspect.

I have a 87 jeep comanche. auto. transfered to 4x4. my dash light wont work, i believe its a dead short because i raised the fuse number and it still blew. my question is, were would be the most likel

When say "dash light" I'm assuming you mean the nighttime illumination for instruments like the speedometer for example. If your truck has a stand-alone digital clock (not part of the radio) that has a feed wire from the instrument panel lights for it to dim at night, otherwise it'd be too bright. That could be a source of a short. The radio also makes use of the dash illumination as well, making the digital display darken at night and lighting the radio's controls and face plate at night, another source of a short in this circuit. Do not ever increase fuse ratings when replacing a fuse, that defeats the safety purpose of the proper fuse being able to blow, opening the circuit which prevents wires overheating and potentially catching fire. You don't want to go there. If you have recently installed another radio the wiring may be wrong. This happened a LOT on Pontiac Firebird's and TransAm's. People often wrongly assumed all black wires are ground and ended up grounding the dash illumination input. This blew the dash light fuse and made the retracting headlight doors stay up.

1.6A250V fuse blows on V3500 power circuit board

Your DVD combo use a Switch Mode Power supply.
If you want to give it a bash here is a good guide that explains how they work and how to trouble shoot.
but ...
in 95% of the cases it is a shorted switchmode power transistor and other semiconductors, open fusable resistors, other bad parts. Note: actual cause of failure may be power surge/brownout/lightning strikes, random failure, or primary side electrolytic capacitor(s) with greatly reduced capacity or entirely open - test them before powering up the repaired unit.

I was watching TV and it just cut off. There is no power light on and the outlets are working and the cord is firmly in.

good day sir/maam, chances are yout tv just blew a fuse, when a fuse blew up, there are several reasons.
  • It protects your tv from further damage.
  • a part of your tv got bad, causing it to blew.
You have a choice of calling your service center/dealer or do it your own.

If you decide to do it yourself, these are the steps you may need to do.
  1. Open the TV's back cover, to access the circuit. locate the blowned fuse.
  2. you may need to pull out the entire board, to test it.
  3. test the switching regulator IC/transistor for shorts, (you may need a multitester).
  4. check for open low value resistors, less than 100 ohms.
  5. You really need to find the cause of the blew up fuse. part by part checking is necessary,
  6. replace the bad parts and test again.
  7. if everthing else fails, you really need to call your service.
note: if you simply replace the fuse without tracing the blew up shorted bad part, chances are the fuse may blew again.

Dometic RM2852 will not turn on

The dometic recall requires the installation of a thermal fuse from the DC terminal block to the igniter,  Originally it was a solid wire connection, and the recall replaced this wire with a thermal fuse imbedded.  On my unit the installer placed the fused wire too close to the burner sheet metal and, viola, the fuse blew (being thermal).  Camping World found the problem in 5 minutes and repaired it in another 10 minutes. $107.00.

HP LCD Monitor w1907 Blowing fuse - no display

1. Visual inspection of the board, wires, etc. for short (expect you have already done this)
2. Start at the source. Need a meter to test voltage coming into the system (is it really 110VAC?)
3. Then the obvious, which is not so obvious or you would have fixed it by now. Need a meter to test components. Test switch. Maybe the power swtich is shorted!? Test all other components one at a time. Including all the wires. Do any of them feel stiff or look like the insulation might have melted a bit? Might need to remove wires to isolate components to test.
4. Since the power switch is not part of the problem then it is before the switch. When it was working, did anything run while the power was off? yellow LED? fan? Components like power diodes, bridges and rectifiers are typically blown by now also.
5. A filter capacitor, usually large, when shorted internally, can be the problem. Only test for short. Must remove one lead, watch polarity.
6. You can only blow so many fuses before the real problem, which the fuse is protecting, will appear...usually a disasterous end. I blew up a power supply to a washing machine after the third fuse. It fried the whole board with a very loud pop, bright flash and fragments of shrapnel flying everywhere. Please be careful!

Troubleshooters rules:
1. When you can't find the problem you are looking in the wrong place. Look somewhere else. Suspect everything, even the smallest detail is often the real problem. Like, what have you ruled out? Did you already assume the switch was good, the wire from the wall was good, the outlet was good, the power was good?
2. When you don't know what else to do, do something. Deliberately break something to see what will happen. (This is not a rule that I would use in this case but might serve you well in troubleshooting other problems in the future.)
