Which key pad setting do you use? You can check it using the language bar in the task bar. When you type maximize the language bar (restore) and type. Select the language from the drop down menu. Each language has its own key settings. Check it using the right click. Change the language settings and examine. Use the appropriate one. If your machine have a function key which shifts keys you may have to click and change the setting also. And that would work...
