If the paper is in the paper tray correctly, you can try to remove the affected cassette. Look inside for a wade of paper blocking the paper present sensor. If so remove the jammed paper. If that is not the case, you will have to have the lift gear replaced in the paper feed unit. It is a Black half moon gear... It is not easy to replace..... Mostly, it is the top paper tay. If you can't afford to have the work done? I would not use the tray & change one of the other trays to the paper tray..... Good Luck

What corrective action for a 'no paper, add paper' message?

Please take out the paper cassette tray and see if there is a paper sensor hanging down underneath the machine. Also check to see if the paper cassette tray is lifting up. The tray should make a noise when lifting up. Check to see that the printer recognizes the correct paper size.

Noisy Dishwasher

it is a capacitor to start the motor for the next cycle. I think it is inside the door. you may have to call a tech.

What kind of cassette comes with the Rol Volant. It sounds kind of noisy. Should I replace with a Shimano 105 cassette that I have.

If you mean the noise while coasting, cassettes don't make that ratcheting noise. The pawls in the hub/cassette body do. Changing the cassette will not change the sound.

During the spin cycle it makes a loud noise "knocking" sound. It's not off balance.

I will assume this is a top load washer. Unplug the unit. Use a wedge piece of wood or a non marring tool to lift the front of the top cover and tilt it back on the hinges. Be careful of the load lid when lifting it back so it will not fall freely back making a loud noise. On each edge of the drum there are support rods in rubber shock absorbers. My guess is the rubber is deteriorated and you need to order new ones.

I have a Toshiba 3560 copier. Its stating 'CASSETTE OUT OF ORDER' Any suggestions on getting this beast up and purring again?

Either there is paper trapped behind that cassette preventing lifting mechanism from lifting paper up to feed height.....or the lift drive assembly has failed. Pull the tray out until it stops, then lift front side of cassette to release/remove it. Look into opening towards right. If no paper, turn copier off then on....this should clear the 'cassette out of order' message. Now, reinstall your cassette. Make sure there is less than approx. 1/2 inch of paper in cassette, then insert cassette fully. It should attempt to raise up....if you hear popping noise during lifting process, the lift drive assembly needs repaired.

Noise block doring playback of D-VHS tapes

* Do not record program in DVHS mode on an S-VHS cassette. Use of S-VHS cassettes will not allow for maximum performance and may result in head clogging. Use only D-VHS cassettes as recommended in the instruction manual on page 27. * Make sure that the DIGITAL 3-DNR lamp is ON when playing back a cassette recorded in D-VHS mode. If not press DIGITAL 3-DNR so that the DIGITAL 3-DNR indicator illuminates. * When block noise appears on the TV screen, clean the video heads with the DFC-2 D-VHS Head Cleaning Cassette (continue up to 3 minutes total). Please refrain from using any other head cleaning cassettes as drum damage may result.
