The ice machine makes ice non-stop. it overflows. so when i open the door the ice overflows on the floor. i had to shut it off. it looks like maybe the sensor doesnt work so it keeps making ice even if it is full,

I have the same problem, I think mine is the pan inside that fills with water is over flowing and causing a big ball of ice to form and therfore it is not draining/melting properly. who knows, i cant figure it out.

It sounds as though the bin therrmisotr is defectice, which as you stated the unit is not sensing the temperature and just continues making ice.

The second issue would appeare to be a drain issue, it should be a gravity drain into either an open drain or a sealed pump.

Water leaks from freezer on floor.

Hello. May be the ice maker is overloading water. Is simple to regulate. You must take away the front cover from the ice maker, then will see a regulator screw, move it about 1/2 turn to minus posicion and check if water still leaking from the ice machine

I have a Hoshizaki Machain and it is leaking water above the door on the left side running down to the left leg when standing in front of the machin, what cause this to leak?

IF you are talking about a freezer, make sure the unit is level as the condensate pan may be overflowing. Also, if the door does not seal properly, it can cause "Sweating" as cold air is escaping and causing condensation at the door. Start with that first.

Makes too much ice and it overflows

You cannot - this is a design issue that really cannot be fixed since the arm that senses the ice level cannot get caught up in the bucket or it would break every time you opened the freezer. Any fridge brand of this type has the same issue.

Inlet drain light on and no drainage

Ok so your dishwasher won't do anything... it justs sits there and "Hums" you can't make it respond to any controls, and the ONLY way to Stop it. is to unplug the unit, replugging back in it simply "Hums" again and will do nothing.
Now this happens because, the STOP Button, is pressed and the "Door Opened", during the Wash Cycle. This should NOT be done. You shouldNEVER TURN IT OFF MID-CYCLE. you should instead, Simply, pull on the handle, to Open the door, the system will take care of everything, after, you close it,and pick up where it left off. The turning OFF, makes the machine "Think" that a New Cycle, is going to be done, before the old one is finished, and resets itself to do it all again. But it still has water, that's not meant to be there so it must dump it out.
Now, the FIX. Take the Dishwasher, out, and tip over on it's side, tip to about a 45' angle. Water will come out from underneath, this is from a small "Overflow" reservoir. this reservoir has an "Anti-Flood" switch. The removing of this water will "Reset" this Switch, and allow the dishwasher to work again.
So what happens, is this, when the STOP button is pressed Mid-Cycle, the machine must "Dump" whatever water is still in the machine, into the "Overflow Reservoir". This water then causes the Anti-flood switch to jam, and this stops the machine, until it is reset,by the above method.

WAS IT LEAKING FROM INSIDE THE FREEZER OR FROM BOTTOM OF FRIDGE? ONCE IN A WHILE YOU NEED TO TAKE OUT THE ICE BIN AND DUMP ICE OUT AND CLEAN IT. HOW CAN THE ICE MACHINE OVERFLOW WITH ICE WHEN THE ICE IN THE TRAY WON'T BUDGE? NEED CLARIFICATION. SOUNDS LIKE YOU EITHER HAVE A BAD ICE MAKER MODULE OR THE SOLENOID FOR THE ICE ON THE WATER VALVE IS BAD.

Ice maker is overflowing

Older icemakers have a bar that drops from above your ice bin; once the bin is full the bar is raised and trips turning the ice maker off so that it won't dump. If your's is this style, try manually pushing the free end of the bar upward so that it locks in the upward position. Newer ice makers with the ice bin in the door have a small panel that moves to the open position when the door opens and closes when the door closes. Mine also includes an optical sensor that is visible when this panel is in the closed position. Try placing a non-clear tape over the optical sensor (don't know if that will work or not but worth a shot). If effective in stopping the ice flow then call a repairman. If none of this works, turn off the water supply coming out of the wall to your freezer.
